Son-of-a-diddly. Went straight for 2886 thinking nobody would get this, open the comments and.....I have renewed optimism for humanity

I have a 6 month supply of tea bags, consequently as a Brit it's only an emergency once there's no cup of tea. Therefore whatever is round the corner will either be a bit of bother, a minor kerfuffle or a slight inconvenience.

Continue to help me find the acre of land to rent so I have somewhere to keep my ostriches. I had success two weeks ago but communication issues scuppered the situation.

Automatic disqualification. A disqualification is different to a ban, a ban is a suspension of the licence and you get it back afterwards. A disqualification is an order by the court, you have to do extended retest to get the licence back. If he is caught again driving whilst disqualified, the penalty is higher and the student visa gets cancelled.
Yes inform the university asap. They won't give a shit about the stress etc, but in the event the student visa is revoked the university is under no obligation to refund any fees.
This next bit is crucial. Where exactly in Birmingham was this? Birmingham had for a long time issues with street racing and antisocial driving. As a result there's high court injunction against such behaviours. If this offence occurred on a road or area under the injunction then he's breached a high court order. Irrespective of the initial offence, breaching a high court order is immediate jail and cancellation of visas. The sentence will probably be suspended but the visa will definitely be cancelled.
Your 'friend' is in really deep shit.

Interesting thought, but society was wired completely differently. The sort of person who would have been chronically online would have found a similar outlet working in places like arcades, video rental stores, leisure facilities like bowling alleys or many of the nightlife jobs. Computer games existed back in the 70s, before then there really wasn't the option unless you were a total pot head. The last 25 years has seen a gradual shift towards people needing other outlets for dopamine hits.

Op is right, nobody used them. They belched out fumes, were loud, rattly and rusted so badly the fumes filled the bus. Couldn't get more than a dozen people in one. They were fun though.

Again? The last park and ride was shocking, those things were everywhere. Totally unrealistic and the daily running costs will bankrupt the council again. Every old pic of Worcester has at least one citibus in the frame. Would they go for blue and yellow again, or pick a new colour scheme?

Firstly double check that as a result of the IN10 you didn't get a disqualification and you had to reapply for your licence. Then go to a comparison website to get ballpark quotes.
You will need a specialist broker, as the quotes will be in the tens of thousands.
Realistically get rid of the Audi and get a C1 or fiat 500 if you want anything below £10k. You're not screwed by any means but the reality is that this is the true consequence of motoring offences. The dildo of consequence never comes lubed.
Sold as seen, your only recourse is if the advert was deliberately misleading, then it's small claims court. However a lot also depends on the vehicle and the price paid. What vehicle, age and mileage and how much did you pay? That's all relevant. If it's a low price it can be argued the defects were factored in to the price. Diesel pipes don't corrode, more likely a loose clip.
