I’d probably clarify what you meant by that. Because industry can mean the entire workforce that uses video editors. That can range from major motion pictures to YouTube videos.
KingAnDrawD
That’s not the case. And I say that as someone who actually has done work in live/post production.
Post production is such a stupidly wide term across dozens of different fields that finding one application only being used is not the case. A lot of people use Final Cut and make money doing it.
KingAnDrawD
I think that's the point. Group communities are especially volatile. If you had just listened to the podcast on your commute to work, the personal investment would not be as high as it is for someone who finds emotional fulfillment in engaging with a larger community over that shared listening experience.
The people aren't necessarily just grieving the podcast; they are grieving the experience that they had here, expressing their positive experience and investment in the podcast.
Regardless of what people feel here, there was a point where the "mobilizing of foot soldiers" that Ethan would do was incredibly manipulative and unethical. I would encourage the fans here to consider whether the people they patronized or harassed actually deserved it, given that their investment in Ethan has diminished significantly.

I got a 16” 2021 MacBook M1 Pro for about $1100 after tax from eBay. 1TB hard drive, 32 GB RAM, M1 Pro chip.
They have a lot of good trusted sellers that come with a one year warranty.

Two vastly different backers who played to different strengths. Willis, if you want downhill pursuit, sideline to sideline. He put opposing running backs' heads on a swivel, constantly looking for him.
Warner is arguably the most gifted coverage middle linebacker in NFL history. Routinely erases high-percentage throws over the middle, playing Tampa 2 coverages like an elite free safety that forces QB's to settle for checkdowns.
I'd probably say Willis has the greater legacy; we're talking 5x First-Team nods and 7 Pro Bowls in just 8 seasons. Warner has some catching up to do there. But Warner could have a much longer career than Willis, as he's already in his 9th season.

I think this is why good journalism is important. Some claim he’s not that invested in it, some claim he’s a moon landing denier. We’ll never know because the article doesn’t have the clip. You can’t even blame the reader at this point.

I got it, I just found the point ultimately irrelevant. A QB can have an elite stretch without actually becoming known as an elite QB.
Bo Nix is not the zero point for that descriptor. There can be QB’s relatively lower or higher than Bo Nix’s average that still get designated mid-tier.
KingAnDrawD
That is your prerogative to believe that Bo Nix is elite because Jimmy was mid-tier with elite stretches. Even though they’re almost literally inverted as to what each one of them does best.
Think of it this way, if Jimmy had a 4 game stretch where he produced elite numbers, congrats, Jimmy played an elite stretch of games. But to be an Elite QB means he needs to do that over several seasons. Jimmy didn’t, therefore he’s not an elite QB.
KingAnDrawD
I wouldn’t call Jimmy an elite QB, but there were stretches when he had elite numbers. That 2019 year was probably his most complete… until the playoffs like you mentioned. 100+ passer rating, 8.4 Y/A, almost 4,000 yards passing.
So yeah, mid tier QB with elite stretches is pretty reasonable.
Where his flaws become far more obvious was his mobile limitations in the pocket, his relatively one dimensional defensive scheme awareness, and his limited passing ability.

They don’t have that hard of a shelf. That’s a nearly -30db difference. I’ve never seen that ever in a true 320kbps file. I could see it happening with a 320 if the original source file was rendered at 128-192, but not a true 320 export from a DAW without some funky low pass setting or bandwidth limited.
KingAnDrawD
That looks like a 192kbps MP3 file. Standard 320kbps MP3’s do not look like this.

Have fun reading through this. Long story short, it’s not just you. I’ve never even had the guy’s class and I know about him being exactly the way you describe.
KingAnDrawD
I think mine went down from a ~3.91 at Chabot to a 3.71 at East Bay. It wasn’t radically harder.
KingAnDrawD
If anything, Carlie being on the sideline and choosing to be a student of the game rather than fraternizing in her box seats reminds me a bit of Al Davis or Eddie. Both owners are widely respected for their success and for how involved they were with their players.

You have a 3.87 GPA, $34k in the bank. My beloved human, the prosecution is missing its evidence of you being unintelligent. Taking a semester off is necessary, especially if external circumstances involving physical or mental health need to be addressed first.
But…
To give you an idea, if you kept that GPA throughout your time at East Bay, you would graduate with Summa cum Laude honors. That’s the highest undergraduate honors range you could obtain. You’re in the upper 10% of all students at East Bay.
And now comes the hard part for a lot of “smart people”. The “smartest” people can flunk out, it happens. What matters more is just the effort of attending, sorting the institutional bureaucracy out, and doing the work. Every class I’ve taken at East Bay has been just a matter of work ethic. Once you’ve demonstrated an ability to retain information to pass classes with a 3.87, as you’ve demonstrated so far at Chabot, then you’ll be fine.
Being able to finish college is not a matter of having intrinsic intelligence, it’s just a question of “do you have the desire to work for it?” And so far, you’ve answered that question.

I honestly thought he looked dangerously close to twisting his ankle once he landed the flip.

Based on the Benn glaze from the Zuffa broadcast, they somehow are pushing me to root for Ryan Garcia of all people. Thanks Dana.

Yup this. I hardly ever play the game chronologically anymore. Dancing Blades build had me hitting DLC content by level 30 to get the weapon. Grayoll becomes nearly step 1 in that process.

One of the cleaner spellblade Bayle fights I’ve seen. Nice job.

Welcome, Tarnished. I find almost every step of ER to be a learning lesson. As you found out with the larval tear, the game gives you stuff. Use it rather than bashing your head against the wall, like you did against Mogh.
Just don’t use too much of it IF you feel like you’re cheating yourself out of the extreme high of beating a hard boss. Everyone plays this game differently to get that same feeling, so do what you feel is right. It’s the beauty of ER and Souls games.

Was this at the library again? If it was, you can also walk up to one of the info desks and ask to speak to a librarian about it. I worked there for about a year and they’re really swift about handling issues like these. Campus PD is a little jaded.
Got it, that helps. I'm assuming projects pass through a lot of hands, and having a Premiere/Davinci workflow makes it easier for everyone involved.
My mind went to "the industry" as meaning Hollywood, and I know of quite a few movies/TV shows that used FC7 or FCX.
