When I drove across the country in 2005, I stopped at a gas station in Manitoba. A big burly bearded dude wearing overalls walked right toward me and I though "Here we go, we're fighting now". He said "Tu VienZ Dut QwEBec?", to which I sheepishly answered "y...yes", only for him to reply "Holy shit! You should stay here bud! There's 40 000 french like us in Manitoba, come for dinner!"
