That first pic with deku running with the all might shirt is the embodiment of all that is my hero academia in my opinion. Just a wonderful piece.

Why all the dudes got those yee yee ass haircuts

I studied about 3.5 weeks. Scheduled for end of my OBGYN block so I could use all the down time on L&D doing uworld. Made it through about 35% of that and then like 75CCS cases and the Randy Neil biostats videos. Much less effort and time than step 1 and 2 but with all that said dont sleep on step 3. I would still suggest at least a practice exam or 2 to make sure you’re scoring what you need to.

I loved namek man. It was like a whole arc of guerilla warfare capped off by the goku vs frieza fight. Krillin, gohan, and even vegeta were hustling.
Kolack6
Unrelated to the scaling but this scene in the anime was fucking awesome

Father Willibald from vinland saga

Once again, this man’s full page drawings are absolutely insane. My goodness
Kolack6
I liked both.
The anime version was just super hype. Beerus saying “he’s coming” all epicly right before that burst of power from goku was very iconic imo.
The manga did a really great job calling back to the idea that goku is in fact a martial artist, and has trained in fighting techniques since he was very young. Ultra instinct is like the pinnacle of martial arts and it was cool that roshi sort of was the catalyst for showing goku that.

Fuckin cry man. My goodness. Fight or flight and hopefully either is good enough to save both of us

That episode was my absolute favorite of season 4. Just all around so well done. Saw a comment in this sub around the time the episode came out describing a certain kind of beautiful suffering Richie must endure to continue having a relationship with Tiff like this now that she has married someone else. Personally if Im Richie i could never do something like that but it just plays out so well with the dynamics of this show and the acting.

Yeah it’s certainly up there. The plot, the twists/reveals, the characters, the music, the animation, all insane. Phenomenal series.
Kolack6
It’s entertaining

The OG series definitely had a different aesthetic. Even just the color palette gave a grittier and more violent feel. Chunin exams were awesome.
Kolack6
Yeah me neither. No biggie. But yes exactly my sentiment.

I just wanted him to keep OfA so we could see an adult Deku with full mastery of it. Flashbacks with young all might in the first movie or when he was still active in vigilantes is just so fun to watch. I wanted to see Deku doing that type of stuff.
Kolack6
You got it. Good luck!

I do. It is a good way to refill your cup and get you excited to do the other thing if that makes sense. Builds in time away from the department, especially if you find yourself working in a real high volume/high acuity shop that sort of has you running yourself ragged a lot. Or if you’re in a system in which you’re working a lot as single coverage or with minimal assistance.
Allows for more job opportunities whether it be teaching the subspecialty of your choice or just working clinically in that space.
Vast majority of my attendings do things outside of working clinically in the ED for those reasons and more. With that said, I do have a handful of fulltime clinically attendings who are in their 50s/60s and still absolutely love it.

Listen. Trust your gut. People can only give you their own experiences. The only person who knows what will work and be successful for your life is you.
People are warning you about EM cause it is challenging and does wear you out at times. Speaking as a PGY-2 at a busy level 1 trauma center. Your sleep schedule is all over the place, you’re always tired, you never feel like you know enough, patients always seem to be angry at you for waiting for hours despite observing a department literally on fire as they get walked to their bed/room. Consults can be short with you and give you hell for not knowing their specialty as much as well as they do.
But With all that said, it is such a rewarding and satisfying job. I love what I do. I love helping people and making them feel heard and comforted, especially in their most difficult or painful moments, to the extent that is possible. I love learning and working up the undifferentiated patient. I love the procedures, i love the intensity of the sick/crashing patient that you get to stabilize. I love being a MacGyver of the medicine world and just making shit work and solving problems for folks within minutes or hours so that a safe dispo can happen. I have found a niche subspecialty within EM, cause personally there are other ways I need to be fulfilled by my career besides working in the department. But i absolutely love this job. Is it for everyone? Absolutely not. But if you felt a pull to it, a tug at your heart strings, while you were on your rotation, perhaps you should listen.

Yep, my favorite of the movie villains and overall my favorite of the movies as well.

Great watch. Will never forget what an uproar episodes 13-15 caused in the anime community when they aired. Absolutely insane.
I just know this is a variation of itachi vs minato but i can’t prove it
