While the amount they raised is great, especially in the US where kids don’t get healthcare, there really wasn’t any “suspense” built in.
The $5,000 “reward” for donating that much was the chance to praise the lord for his charity, by virtue signaling their donation.
Which, if they were church members with a vote in America, they could vote for a candidate who wouldn’t cut healthcare from kids, instead of electing someone who just yells at the blue haired kids in his yard.

Like Matthew 6:3-4: “Bit when you do give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving will be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.”
Our church specifically encourages anonymous donations, based on this.

But in Matthew, it says to not announce your good deeds:
The Bible generally advises against broadcasting good deeds for the purpose of seeking public recognition or praise. Instead, it emphasizes that acts of righteousness should be done with a sincere heart, motivated by genuine compassion and a desire to please God, not man. Matthew 6:1-4 says it is better to do good deeds in secret, leaving the reward to God, rather than seeking earthly accolades.

If the work involves a large lobbyist firm in DC, then yes they are doing work to keep giving money to political parties that are the antithesis of Christianity.

“We’re a simple family, but we really appreciate what you’re doing, here’s $5022.18” see exodus 22:18.

Glad I wasn’t the only one counting those punches.

I wondered if he was worried that a donation from them would hurt his position within the LGBTQ community. From the Wikipedia about hobby lobby:
“The business and its owners have been the subject of controversies and scandals including accusations of antisemitism, homophobia, LGBTQ discrimination, attempts to evangelize public schools, "efforts to deny access to contraceptives for employees," "discrimination and illegally smuggled artifacts to endangering employees during the coronavirus pandemic.”
But with all the other virtue signaling in the donations it makes sense if he doesn’t want to point attention to it.

What’s crazy is that 9-11 gets remembered and reposted almost every day. I get it, it was a horrific event that happened live in front of everyone.
Now imagine 60 years from now. Will there be 9-11 deniers? Like with what happened in Germany in the 40’s?

Just this dude? Al Franken, Josh Whedon, JK Rowling, etc. not all for the same reasons, and not that they didn’t all do heinous things, those are just the ones that happened at the wrong time.
For example: see The Dixie Chicks for standing up what they believed in at the wrong time.

That’s a professional opinion of mine, too. SMB is a last resort, and I always copy files before opening them directly from a vpn file share.

Some say they still run bootlegging operations from the subway tunnels that were built to speed up trips the Kentucky and back.
They also say that they’re the reason the subway tunnels stay “unused”. And why urban explorers go missing frequently down there.

Doesn’t sound like a “visual glitch” but more like whatever type of computer and operating system you have isn’t able to use your camera. It would probably help knowing if you are using the free version of teams or the work/school version, also what type of computer, os and camera you have.
And r/techsupport might be able to help you more than this sub…but you could also ask someone who does tech support at your company.

In my experience, CEO’s and executives love it. With work from anywhere and VBRO, it really improves their quality of life.
The employees who also have unlimited PTO, but have to be in the office, or who have kids in school who can’t work from the beach, we hate it.

After wiping windows? You might want to post in a tech support subreddit to get more help re-wiping the drive and do not restore from backup.

First, how did you get hacked?
Second, hackers don’t need to unlock your PC to get access to your data. Roommates could unlock your PC, but most hackers don’t remote into a hacked pc.

I was supposed to be working from home today, but had to come into work. Two of my five person team has Covid, and the other is on a flight to the west coast. That leaves one unaccounted for and me.

They do when they layoff groups of people every week. I’ve had a couple times when groups were laid off, and the employees were moved into another division, which was cut two weeks later. Trying to get a signature of someone responsible was like playing hot potato. “You should send this to steve, he’s handling this now.” Sorry, steve was just let go too.

So you have exchange rights, but no other? You probably can’t use msonline (o365) and mggraph (azure/entra Id)
Connect-exchange online without the upn should be all you need, it should prompt you for credentials.
KompliantKarl
Have you ever used Entra sync? It can run on an on prem server at your client, and it will replicate all AD objects to Azure.
If that’s not what you want to do, I think you are just creating a lot of work that could be handled by software that’s specifically designed to migrate on prem servers to exhange online.
For example: https://www.epcgroup.net/exchange-to-office-365-migration/

One of our new users was having trouble logging into our network, while on site.
They were using a personal vpn, and the endpoint was blocked on our network due to “suspicious traffic”. They had to turn off their “personal vpn which protects them from the horde” before they could log into our vpn.
So yes this kind of thing does happen.

The web client never had an issue with Teams integration because it didn’t require a plug-in.
And the new Outlook is just the web version in a new skin.

Hi, this is Oracle. We noticed someone at your company purchased a hammer. Of course our usage agreement states that you will only use Oracle brand nails, and please pay us for every user in your company just in case they use the nail removal feature on the back of the hammer.

Yes, I’d have staggered the user creation over a few days, if the manager asked how it was going, I’d huff and say “it’s time consuming, but it’s coming along.”
And then catch up on other projects while the manager is satisfied that I’m not spending my day checking Reddit.

This should include managers/directors…and maybe some teachers who went out and got cyber security certificates during 2020-2021, and who just go over checklists in the audits.
Yes, “how do we prove that they didn’t get access to a server that is on prem with no external access?”
These 100,000 lines of a log show only internal activity.
But have you seen line 98,432? What happened on that time?
Server rebooted.
Can you prove it?
