Strangely enough I tried hsv color model at first and it didn't work at all. Switched to hsl and it worked like a charm :)

Yeah. Nasty stuff. I had this on my ring finger. I couldn't fully open my palm. I followed all the recommendations of a doctor, did several courses of the electrophoresis and at one point as randomly as it started it suddenly stopped progressing. Then over a few years of exercises I mostly returned mobility of my fingers. But the lump remained.
