It’s a reference to a book named “House of Leaves”. To skip past about 3 layers of reality, the plot starts when Will Navidson notices his house is 1/12 of an inch larger on the inside than on the outside, he attempts to reconcile this with increasingly precise measuring tools. However the special impossibility escalates over time as he finds an impossible doorway leading into a seemingly infinite pitch place hallway that eventually kills his brother and almost kills him.

Real good book if you can tolerate a protagonist with weird views on women, plays a lot with how it’s printed.
