I’ve been following this advice - IT WORKS! And the more time I spend away from the media, the less and less I even want to turn the news back on. It is depressing, and takes over my mind thinking about how doomed we essentially are and it creates more and more reasons I don’t want to bring new children into this world. Happy homes for existing children are tough enough to come by as it is.

It’s because of lunatic religious people mixing up church and state. Like, fine, believe a man in the sky created demons on earth because some girl ate an apple from a tree. That’s all jolly well to do on your own time. But when your affecting the livelihood of infinite future citizens of the entire world because of your beliefs, you belong in the Hell your mind thinks is real.

I would be fine without Obama as a president if it meant we were actually being progressive with conservation of the earth tbh. Obama’s a great all around dude, but not really the best president statistically.

Are we really that great though? Other nations rate so much higher than us in many important sectors.
