There’s a cut when there’s doesn’t need to be. The laughing doesn’t sound super natural and you can hear the laughing start before she makes the joke.

Correction: I just double checked the info. I thought it was an AI swarm doing both these things, but these are 2 separate incidents.

There was a cyberattack on European cooling system where unknown hackers turned refrigerators into oven and spoiled millions worth of food (hope the locals are ok)

And then there were attacks on US water systems that are strongly suspected to be from state sponsored Iranian hackers.

I was feeling the cloak of fear last night, convinced that AI was coming for our necks, but… knowing it’s other human using AI to wreck havoc, although still not good, is less scary and easier for me to wrap my mind around than the thought of indifferent AI causing societal disruption for its own survival.

You remind me of someone I know. Stranger, I hope that melancholy sits like a seed in your garden, I hope that time tunes the station, and you might hear your story told softer.

I hope the ghosts that sit upon your shoulders, may have a Zuko from the last airbender character arch where SPOILER, where they are your enemy, then your friend, then your enemy again, then your friend… like all relationship going thru the heartbreaking but beautiful cycle.

The stuff with AI is trying stressing me out. Not the PHP2shell bug stuff, but the ai swarms targeting the American banks, and attempting to access systems that control grocery refrigeration, and water processing system. If you don’t wanna sleep, just search up, “why would AI target grocery cooling and water systems”
