The revelation came, at the time, felt like out of nowhere, but you re-read the series again and all the hints were actually there, all along. Mochizuki just did a damn good job at making us (and the characters) oblivious to that fact.

What's more crazy was that it was the height of Tumblr culture, where people absolutely over-analyze and theorize every single detail in the manga they consumed, and not a single fan managed to guess the truth, or even the near-truth. We were all bamboozled on that day.

Now I haven't read it yet, but it was supposedly a retelling of the main story, except Deku had the ability to see ghosts and was a much smarter and more cynical person than he was in canon.

Some of the combination doesn't even make sense. Like how to you get an egg by combining chalk and dust anyway?!

I made a spreedsheet and brute-force every combinations and finally arrive at the elixir after like thousand rounds of combining every ingredient.

You see the board on the left side of Aldous with all the weird symbols at the bottom rack? Each of those symbols matches a number/word on that board. You go around the room, click on various objects to try and decode those symbols. After you've finished decoding them, you'll understand how to make the elixir

A passion project through and through and basically the only reason it could hit the theaters at all was because the mother knew a local cinema owner, and he allowed a few limited midnight showings. Well, I've burned out of OP a long time ago but imo up until the timeskip, it's still one of the best stories I've experienced. But different strokes for different folks. OP being great isn't a universal truth, it's just an opinion of its massive fanbase and if you don't share that opinion, cool!

This is not just my favourite OP fic, but my favourite fic in all fandoms in all times, and this is saying something because I don't even follow OP these days yet I still come back to this fic from time to time to enjoy the greatness.

It's canon compliant, non romance (purely nakama feeling) set vaguely after the timeskip, telling a story of how Zoro just up and forgot Nami one day, and it got worse from there.

This is the greatest use of the non-reliable narrator trope I've seen in literature and I'm not even joking, imo published books don't even write as good as this author.

If there's one OP fic you should read, it's gotta be this fic. Please read it, just read it.

Yeah, I assumed so as well, and I genuinely thought it was a mistake on rustylake's part. I mean, that potatoes tasting part was an obvious hint pointing to allergy, so to have it be something else was just ridiculous.
