Same boat. I've been a Sanderson fan for a long time but his last few releases have just fallen so short for me.

My friend put it very well when describing how the later bridge 4 interactions feel sometimes. He said, "I wouldn't be surprised if at any point one of the bridge 4 members yelled 'TICKLE FIGHT!!' and that just became the scene"

Absolutely amazing work! I'd love to know more about your process, especially for the thatch. I'd say base it but keep it neutral enough that it won't make it stand out if you use it as scatter terrain for future projects

I broadly agree. It and RTS in general is my favorite thing ever and it's pretty undebatably the best RTS ever made. I think I just view it as having died as an RTS many years ago and so I'm happy to see any revival of the IP that basically built my teen years. Plus, having this game be a hit may end up giving us more projects in the world. Maybe it doesn't too, but then this is still cool in and of itself

This one is always tough for me because I really enjoy taking some pictures and a few short videos of the start of a song to show friends. I have my phone out maybe 5% of the time at most at a concert and I like being able to do that. At the same time others do abuse it and make the experience worse. It's tough

Disagreeing with you or saying you don't have any tangible evidence as to the quality of this game and this any opinions you have on it are unfounded is not anti free speech. Free speech has to do with the government not arresting you, not others having to accept your nonsense. You're not gonna get arrested, you're just gonna make people not like you and say so, which is also free speech!

Do you know that the other races are not playable for a fact? This is a genuine question, I don't know if there's been news about it or not. Them saying it's an open world shooter sorta made me think PlanetSide and that gave me some hope for being able to play as other races

I agree, that's too long between games. I think the misunderstanding is just that these next 4 years of development are "taking their time," not all these years where they were doing nothing with the ip
