On Wegovy for about six weeks. I just don’t crave it much anymore. I got drunk really fast in the beginning, which was unexpected. And the hangovers were noticeably worse. So I don’t even have more than a beer or two when I drink, have basically cut out liquor. I need social interaction, but thankfully there’s a bookstore / coffee shop open til midnight near me and I’ll hang out at an independent movie theatre. Otherwise, I’ve been way more productive at home at night, my dog gets an extra walk or I sit on the porch.

NTA, it should be assumed that this might happen. The bride’s insecurities did this, not you or your family.
