Sandwiches on bread and bakery bin rolls!

Nut butters; cheese and tomato; frozen bag of meatballs (sale), pasta sauce and cheese, heated; albacore tuna (occasionally); canned chicken breast; ready to eat kielbasa and sauerkraut, heated; grilled/baked on a sheet pan cheese; premade hummus (this is tasty on wheat bread); quarter ham slices (it's been on sale lately); any fresh veggies you like, thinly sliced, pressed dry, with mayo, (on toast).

Also, Idaho and sweet potato boats.

My parents were immigrants from northern Italy, and I still eat like them. Fish, beans, veggies, fruits, olive oil, grains. They both lived to nearly 100 and that's what I'm aiming for as well.

Yesterday, a person I see a lot at lunch looked at what I was eating and said, "You just eat ingredients." Perfect.

I'm 67 with fine, thinning hair. About 10 years ago I switched to conditioner only "shampooing" except for dire circumstances. It's helped keep hair loss low for me.

I finger pad premassage my scalp before I step into the shower. Then, I just let the conditioner coat each hair strand, shampooing a good amount in and thoroughly rinsing it off. I don't leave it on. This really helps with any fragrance problems from "unscented" or low scent products.

I switch between the creamiest, least fragranced, grocery store conditioners on sale with coupons because that's what I can afford. Thicker conditioners seem to have less scent.

I hope this method works for you.

I'm game.

Yes. Most people were learning and didn’t know how to utilize a computer on the web. It was exciting. And you knew the community was growing.

Probably why it makes no sense when folks today say "I don't know anything about computers." Insert - "don't want to learn."

I had been working with computers since the late 1970s when I was a working teen. The internet was fantastic for me. Except for the tying up the landline for hours thing.

I miss being able to download scientific papers and dissertations for free in the internet of long ago and far away.

Also, you could landline call website owners and get operating help. It was much easier to find a backdoor into a site if that thought had ever crossed my mind.

Wow.

A welcome home look from my Mom.

I lost a beloved dog coming on his 16th birthday to a heart attack. I still think I should have seen that coming, but that is sadness talking not doubt. He died in pain beside me with my hand on him. He had a vet visit that month, and even the vet was surprised he died so soon afterwards.

Second guessing will never heal our hearts. Our love remains strong and eternal. We lived our lives in that moment fully loving them in all ways. I believe that has to be enough. ❤️
