Another problem is that great whites are at least partially warm blooded, so they actually overheat in captivity

Legendguard

...But the horned fungus beetles were at least cool, right?

Legendguard

If probably stick it in a deep freezer to kill off any potential beetles, but after that you can literally just leave it out and it'll dry on its own!

Legendguard

FIRMLY GRASP IT

Legendguard

How does it even breath while swallowing like that 😱 Horribly unrealistic!!

Legendguard

This... Idk this seems like a non issue? A lil gatekeepy too. If that's the part of the series they like and want to engage in, so what? Not everyone wants or has the time to dive head first into a series/franchise, sometimes they just want to interact with the part they like, and there's nothing wrong with that. I see this attitude in the Pokemon community a lot too. Like, people get made that certain pokemon are more popular than other pokemon and that underrated Pokemon get overshadowed, but like... Who cares? Let people like what they like, as long as they aren't assholes about it.

You wouldn't know the girlfriend, she goes to a different school

Rio 2 - in the first one the whole point is they were the last of their species, but OOPS GUESS NOT WE GOT A WHOLE FLOCK HERE

I hate the second movie so GD much

Legendguard

Id argue they're a full separate species, but without DNA sequencing it's impossible to say

Legendguard

I mean most predators do infact supplement their diet with small animals (and in some species is actually where the bulk of their diet comes from, despite being large), but yeah, point stands

Legendguard

Wait, it's on Paramount+? Ferb, I know what we're going to do today!

Legendguard

I mean some of us youngins like the show

Legendguard

For views :/

Legendguard

Oh my god you're probably right 😭 is it bad I'd rather sell an organ than my binder?

Legendguard

I can't watch this movie. The cats mating doesn't bother me (that's what unfixed feral cats do, if you spend any time with cats you're going to witness it first hand. I feel bad for the folks that had to draw it frame by frame tho > _> ) but seeing cats suffer, even if it's fictional, is just something I can't put myself through. I know it's an excellent movie, but I just can't do it man

Legendguard

Guys, it's only a LITTLE child porn! It's fine!! (/s)

Legendguard

Hey, it's no problem! I'm happy people are still engaging with it!

Legendguard

I do have it! Unfortunately I haven't really been able to splurge on cards lately due to how expensive food is right now, but I did manage to pick up a couple more cards since I've posted this

1: those wasps were already on their way out (if not gone completely) since they die out in the fall

2: the nest was already in an area where they wouldn't bother anyone, so this was even more pointless

3: unless they were introduced European hornets (this looks to be a native bald faced hornet nest, so I doubt it) you really should just leave them alone and let them do their job of being free pest control when they're in an area away from people like this

4: way to kill everything else off by spraying useless pesticide powder like that everywhere, again to a likely already dead colony, and making actual pests even more pesticide resistant

5: even if there were still wasps, they still would have died out on their own. Once the drones and queens fledge, the original queen dies and the colony slowly burns out before being completely killed by the frost

What an absolute waste of time and resources, with a bit of animal cruelty on top of it. Hope the views were worth it assholes

Hey just a heads up, but too many springtails can actually stress the snails out, especially when they swarm the shells like this. You can manually remove some into their own enclosure every once in a while, or you could add tiny predators like tiny rove beetles and/or predatory mites to help keep the population down. I also personally use soil centipedes (tiny centipedes that are too small to eat snails but big enough to keep the tiny critter population down), but you don't have to use them yourself

Legendguard

I thought this was some kind of weird caterpillar or hawkmoth at first 😭

Legendguard

Isn't "foid" a slur against woman that incels use? Was it always called "Malfoid" or was that a recent hijack?

Legendguard

"Yo is that blackface?!"

Legendguard

I literally had nightmares about that kind of thing as a kid. I loved the Land Before time series and other dinosaur related media, so that mixed with my chronic childhood nightmares meant I would constantly dream about stuff like it. Watching the episode was so fucking stressful, it was like those nightmares came to life before my eyes.

Needless to say the nightmares started again

Don't ever trut google AI for identification, these are so obviously none of those! We need area for a proper ID, but they look to be a type of Polygyrid snail. Try this guide first, as theres a lot of overlap between some areas of the US! I also reccomend joining the r/snails' discord [here] for excellent care guides and advice for keeping snails!
