I don't try to make mythic in limited and constructed regularly, but the time i did get there it took 38 quick drafts to go from bronze to mythic with a slightly above 60% win rate. I spent 100,000 gold on the initial entries and had 3660 gems left over after buying the mastery pass and accounting for mastery pass rewards.

not always, that's what the single Show and Tell is for (still usually lose against turn zero leyline)

Lemon-Bits

it's fun, but i'd wait for it to be on sale. i'm looking forward to the sequel when it comes out.

saying that Too Many Cooks is the elder millennial's version of the JFK assassination is wild when we have a perfectly good 9/11 in the fridge at home.

Lemon-Bits

same thing happened to me. finished at #1110 and got both the play-in points and the qualifier token. I'm not sure if it matters, but I did briefly crack the top 250 when i was ranked #247.

old english specifically refers to the english language spoken on the british islands until it started getting phased out after the norman conquest in the year 1066. it then became middle english for a few hundred years and then finally became modern english with the release of the hit single "i melt with you" in 1982.

Lemon-Bits

use wildcards to craft decks, not singles

Lemon-Bits

probably not, and we might get a post with them wondering why they're not winning anymore in another week

Lemon-Bits

nice

Bo1 Timeless is where I do my fast track to mythic. Lots of games finished on turn 1 or 2.

Lemon-Bits

i've made that mistake. i made sure to not play with the deck and submitted a request to wotc for a WC refund. they did refund the cards (and removed the crafted cards).

Lemon-Bits

i submitted a bug report due to cards now showing as invalid for decks. My timeless reanimator deck tells me the Odyssey version of Entomb is not legal and I can't find it in my collection. the TLE version of Entomb is still able to be crafted, but no sign of the ODY version. I can still use the deck from the recently played screen, though.

roaming throne ability is triggered abilities of another creature you control trigger an additional time. ward is a triggered ability on the targeted roaming throne that got triggered an additional time due to the non-targeted roaming throne's ability.

I keep Team Fortress 2 installed and probably only launch it once every year or two

More Dungeons & Dragons would be fine by me. I find myself enjoying magic sets that are firmly in the realm of fantasy. In-universe sets are pushing too far into sci-fi for my tastes (EOE, DSK, DFT, etc.), or are just kind of aesthetically dumb (OTJ, MKM).

If the Cylons attack, maybe we'll get President Linda McMahon and first gentleman Vince

Lemon-Bits

They're probably also a good judge of people's judo skill

Lemon-Bits

nothing has changed. you don't get automatically upgraded to mythics just because you have all the rares. you get 20 gems for extra rares. mythic drop rate is still the same. if you want guaranteed mythics, buy mythic packs (still possible to get rare wildcards though).

Lemon-Bits

culver's is great, but I have gotten shitty (overcooked, charred) burgers from them on a few occasions over the years. It's rare, but it happens.
