Doing good, or at least way better than I was expecting! I have been painting way faster than I would normally, but I'm not getting as many defenses as I hoped.

Finished! I had a lot of fun painting him!
if you are wondering why he is shirtless in the image it was a mistake in the sketch phase of the drawing. I intended the image would only go down just below the neck so I didnt need to bother drawing clothes, but then I drew the hand too far down and realized I would either need to crop out half the hand, redraw the torso with clothes, or just leave it. I just left it.

I loved this character! I know I said in the post that I usually draw slow but I somehow managed to do this one real quick.

I already did my main goal, making a profile I am proudd of, that looks good and is eye-catching so I can hopefully get more attacks.
beyondd that I suppose just simply to do more attacks this year than I ddid my last year.

When I first played this game, I was super invested in finishing the community center and doing all the quests and such, upgradding my house, finishing the mines all as soon as possible. I spent all my time working for those that I never had time to do things like marry one of the villagers, raise my relationship with the NPCs, or make my farm look nice, because I told myself I would do all that once I had done the important things.
but when I played the game again years later, I took a much slower approach to the game, focusing more on the character's stories and decorating my farm, and despite that I managed to actually do all those quests an upgrades at almost the same speed, if not sooner than before. this time I was dating by spring year 2, and married by that same fall. my farm looked beautiful, and I got every villager to max relationship status.
The point is, take the game slow. don't worry about making lots of money, don't worry about getting those backpack upgrades ASAP, don't bother trying to unlock new areas fast, you will make progress just the same, whether you are trying to go as fast as possible or trying to just chill.

my last one was one I had known about since the original e3 demo, the one with the lava falling from the ceiling. but while I saw SO much footage of people doing the platforming years before the game even released I aparently never once saw how to get there and never once noticed the breakable wall once in my playthrough

I always assumed that The Hollow Knight was a sort of "trap" for the infection and the radiance, because it was truly hollow* I figured it was like an endless well to store the radiance's light, and once it starts infecting THK it would just... keep pulling more and more of the radiance and her light in but never actually being infected because it is just an endless well that can never actually be consumed by the infection**.

basically like trying to fill up a bottomless glass with water, it never fills up at all and eventually you are going to run out of water

(*or at least was meant to be)

(**again, that would have been what happened if THK was actually hollow, but we know how that really turned out.)

When I started doing Juggle I was trying to jump and hit the fleas at the very highest point I could so that they would bounce higher, giving me more time, and while I don't know if you were also doing that, I learned that it is a terrible strategy and that you should just stay on the floor, don't jump and just hold the up button while walking side to side. you shouldent need to sprint very often either, just walk.

As someone who has played all three extensively, Hollow knight. always Hollow Knight.

SotV is really cool, but just a DLC. you are fine without it.

Noita is fun, but it is not a game one should buy with the expectation of ever beating.

Hollow knight tops everything. Hollow Knight is love, Hollow knight is life.

I really like it, but it was split for a reason, and it just does not work is normal 1v4 gameplay. we should savor it while it is here but it can't be here forever.
