Saw it when it came out, has the pleasure of watching it for its 10th anniversary in imax.
The sheer scale of the movie and sound track is a work of art and there hasn’t been a movie since that has drawn me in quite like it.

Have always had a weird feeling, my dad doesn’t stick up for himself when he should. As a child I saw him be taken advantage of by friends, colleagues and family - as I grew older I wanted to both not have that happen to me and also protect my dad.
I suffer from Autism and emotional detachment from intense situations so I often switch off when others would get emotional but the thought of losing my dad is the one situation in life I can’t comprehend. I can feel my heart race when I think about it. I do not get the same feeling about any other family. Strangely… have never been able to understand why.
