Yeah Nintendo has mostly really been concerned with monetary aspects. Fan projects that charge or have a Patreon, mods with similar stuff, or of course piracy. For all people hate on them, usually deserved, they're at least pretty consistent. The dumbest and only time I've seen them really do anything risky with barely any footing is the Palworld patent stuff.

False reporting is mildly cringe even if someone's an annoyingly bad player.

Moderation here is so weird. Remove a post that generates genuine discussion and engagement for what? Rule 2? The closest it's even vaguely related to us the tierlist thing which it obviously isn't.

Even the s3-2 every turn isn't as good now as it once was. She can ramp up maybe one or two turns faster but it doesn't take long for other IDs to do the same. Middle Outis can do it every turn from turn 1 in an envy/middle team and you wouldn't use her in any other since that's her gimmick. HoS Ryoshu can get all her skills to basically that level of clash and damage fairly quickly while taking no damage since she moves it, and there's probably others.

The only thing she really has going for her nowadays is the assist defense and speed, which is useful yeah but not meta breaking like some people still make it out to be or absolutely busted. Especially since a few other strong IDs have assist defense now too.

Personally? Probably decently hot take but Mao Faust. I do understand why she's strong but it didn't take long to get IDs as strong or stronger (KoDya) and on better teams than the hamstrung rupture team. Thanks to her, how rupture works, and partially Talisman Sinclair before his nerf the status and Heishou team is not as strong as they could have been by the time the season wrapped. One notably strong ID doesn't really make up for it especially when it just took one season to get stronger IDs and teams.

Frankly even at the time she was fresh she was impressive but, and maybe this is a bit of a skill issue, but even using her ideal rotation she never felt as good as a lot of people made her out to be.

You sure assume a lot and love to put words in my mouth. I'm not saying anything about it being illegal, I really don't care that much. My point is that having a toxic playerbase drives people away because it makes the experience unpleasant. Frankly you're just proving my point about the sort of people that are attracted when a game or community has no filtering or moderation on blatant bigotry.

So any shooting game should be free reign to be racist, sexist, or homophobic? Maybe some people, y'know, wanna play those games without having to deal with hateful BS ruining the mood, especially if they actually belong to one of those groups.

There's certainly sloppier but they're still fairly lazy quickly put together projects generally speaking. It's not like it's really creating anything new, just using AI to swiftly toss in a bunch of admittedly nice sounding features for those that want them. I haven't played it to see how buggy it may be but of course if it is bad I guarantee they get a lot more leeway than 343 ever would have.

All of these sudden new mods and recreations of games are done with AI decompiling that seems to have come about as a recent advancement. Of course I'm sure the rebuilding is done with AI vibecoding and such to also do it so quickly.

It's full of the same sort of chuds that say "You'd never survive a 360 CoD lobby" whenever someone has even a mild criticism of their attitude. So putting them in unmoderated unfiltered servers where they can say and type whatever they want they of course use the opportunity to spout all the things they can't get away with in official games anymore and worse.

I don't doubt there's some normal regular people but everything I've seen so far has way too much unfiltered hatred.

If you're playing a team/ID for a few fights it doesn't take long to learn the actual playstyle, which is far simpler than all the words might make you think. A lot of them are just for conditionals and slight differences in the unique statuses that boil down to when they buff coin/clash/final power.

Really the play styles between IDs are just if you have to use the defense skill now and then, what team/resonance buffs them, and if they have a retreat mechanic. Behind that they're all just "play the game, use s3 when you can, get stronger as fight goes on." Even the most "complex" like Index or Hanafuda just require you to look at the sprite/skills to know which skills to use on what enemy to get strong attack.

Edit: In short it doesn't take long to learn an ID or team's playstyle and at that point you can plan out what happens in a turn easily without reading the paragraphs.

It probably would have been better handled privately yes, but it is public knowledge now. The cat isn't getting back in the bag. At the end of the day what it's revealed of Sinder's personality (and yes others who aren't relevant in this instant) has made it certainly justifiable for me and others to not want to support her or projects with her in it.

Going out of the way to hate on her directly or send death threats or anything is uncalled for, back then or now, I never said that sort of thing is justified. It's certainly fine though for people to still not like her.

I've certainly seen a lot worse in retail than the hours being the same each day of the week and both weeks being in the same half of the day. As others have said these will definitely work for someone.

Nanoless is not the only one involved as a "victim" and I'm going off direct screenshots of Sinder's words supplemented somewhat by accounts. But honestly the screenshots are enough to see she's at the least an unpleasant person and not genuine.

It's crazy to me how bondage coded so much of Noir is while Sisyphe somehow having nothing directly sexual.
