Exactly the same thing happened to me when I built it. The face is the last side you build but the only side where a mixup between those two oranges is terribly obvious. But the mistake inspired me to move a couple more colors around actually!

Crosspost this beauty to r/LEGOHalloweenVillage !

Looks much more like a slime mold simulation tbh

There is something humorous about representing electrons as a probability cloud but quarks as classical particles, since they are both fermions, even if I do understand why you would want to treat them differently :) but yeah I don't think I have a solution other than to choose either a frozen snapshot of particles (position only) or a probability cloud. I'm not sure what a probability cloud of the quarks in a nucleon would even look like, but I imagine it wouldn't convey the scale information you're aiming for.

I think it's worth noting that for the small-scale objects, depicting them as particles with trajectories is misleading, since they are quantum objects which fundamentally cannot have a precise location and momentum simultaneously. For the sake of showing scale, any *still frame* from the video might be accurate (because there is no information about momentum in a still frame, so the position can be arbitrarily precise) but as soon as you try to animate them as moving particles, their motions cannot be depicting any real (or realistic) processes. I mostly mention this because the larger scales are depicted without any motion, so it seems odd to show motion only at the scale at which it would be misleading.

I thought the Mayor was more of a spectre. No fangs, has age lines, and glows in the dark.

From the thumbnail I thought it was an old Apple computer falling onto Steve Jobs, which would be hilarious

"in recent times"
starts with dragonite
Anyway you don't need an essay. Almost all pseudos are dragons. People want more non-dragon pseudos.

This is really cool. 100% procedural? Like even the individual leaves, petals, etc? That is a serious labor of love.

I will note as feedback that all the animals here follow a visibly synapsid (mammals and their ancestors) body plan (legs upright beneath the body, center of mass balanced over the front limbs), except when given extra legs of course. So if you're interested, you might look more into the body plans of reptiles, amphibians, birds, and dinosaurs to see how you can make the differences between the creatures feel less superficial.
(I will note that the chubbier specimens toward bottom of second image are an exception. They have more postural resemblance to turtles or toads, but I will point out that turtles rely on armor to make up for a lack of mobility, and toads rely on giant hind legs to hop when mobility is needed. In other words, the "large, soft, round body and small, splayed legs" creatures would go extinct very quickly due to a complete lack of fight-or-flight mechanisms, unless you give them some...creative features.)

Ah in that case I believe it would be outside of any present day vertebrate class. Thanks for pointing out
LittleLemonHope
The fossils are such a wide variety of animal phyla I would not be surprised to see a fossil mammal in a future gen.
So far we have invertebrates from phylums: mollusks, arthropods, echinoderms
And from the chordate phylum (basically, vertebrates) we have: fish (bony fish, I presume), reptiles, birds, non-avian dinosaurs...very diverse. I see no reason why mammals and amphibians wouldn't be allowed.

Musharna is elephant-adjacent a tapir too I think

This tbh, but with surface area when assembled (so details are proportionately accounted for) imo. It's unrealistic to measure physically, but probably could be done with an assembled digital model pretty easily?
Weight is an easy proxy and seems to drive lego's pricing internally (in addition to other factors like custom moulds, prints, stickers, electronics, and licensing). But weight could disproportionately value something like a stack of 3 plates which ends up externally being not much different than a single brick but much heavier.

Oh, you mean dyes. I thought you were taking about the final color of outfits/furniture.
LittleLemonHope
I mean, gifting is still an option, right?
LittleLemonHope
Mario series too. Most of them are very blocky but there are some that work well imo.

manmade horrors beyond my comprehension

I love this so much. I've been wanting to do the same kinda thing with the cornfields and swamp ecosystems. Are the 3 buildings on the left MOCs?

Now they just look like starfish

Anything that doesn't spin like a top on its tail. Slowbro being slow and clumsy is kinda like its whole thing.
One option would be the shell grows massive and is laying on its side, with slowbro barely peeking out, except when it lunges out to attack. It's barely able to crawl, having to drag the shell behind it.

As a Slowbro stan, mega slowbro's design hurts my soul
(Not your work... the design made by gamefreak)

To be fair, you can continue without winning that battle.
But you only get to do the first mission and then it locks until you complete the main game.

lil bro is cookin
Um ackshually, it should be Jason Funderburker with a second u, to avoid confusing the frog and the human.
