You seem to be forgetting this:
we also have the duty not to infringe the IP rights in the process. So, it is, in fact, the manufacturers who have the relevant rights, not consumers

You can tell by the comments and the insistence on posting the same dull story every day that they're brigading from their WhatsApp group. Self righteous nonsense and virtue signalling. If they wanted to do something useful then campaign directly for specific cycles paths etc.

Try coming from Lewes and explaining to American Poles that we hang no popery signs across the street, march with burning crosses, throw bangers at a guy dressed as the pope as he delivers a sermon then blow up a giant effigy of him... along with political figures and the Guy Fawkes. That got some wide eyes XD

You'd need to be a flat earther to not see through this

Made a fake case for invading a sovereign nation and lied to parliament to get it through. There's a huge information disparity between those voting on a proposal and the intelligence services so there was a large element of trust. This is why many were "Pro war", it was understood there were many things that would be held back but the case for a war of aggression would not be put forward unless it was required.
That turned out to be BS and the trust in governance collapsed because they were willing to absolutely lie about what is arguably the most extreme thing they could be responsible for.
This is why almost everyone considers Blair an irredeemable liar and refuses to listen to a word he says when he tries to interfere in politics.

But right wing hate groups have no time for facts. Farage and scum like him should be kept far away from the media no need for bile like his to be broadcast and given credence.

An example of this is the Widmanstätten pattern.

I'm European, and it's not uncommon over here outside of the big chains. When I worked on a counter at Tesco we'd often be able to work in discounts for those who asked, buying things myself I can usually get something at clothing stores if I'm buying several items not on sale - even with chains like gap. Bakeries, delis, wine merchants are obvious candidates. The big difference is I know which items carry some margin, and I don't ask unless I'm buying more than a small amount. If I'm picking up a few kilos of cheeses for a party I'm going to ask, and I treat the person on the other side like a professional. Working on the service side soon shows you when you get the chance and how to ask. Arseholes think they can read a book and act like a jerk and get the same. Sometimes you don't get a discount, but they'll pick choice items with you or gift wrap.
I sincerely believe that giving store workers more responsibility and freedom can lead to better service and happier employees. You might lose some 'customers' but they're generally not the types you want anyway. Look to apple stores for examples of above average employee trust.

You repeat what I said... But disagree. Reading comprehension failure.
Customer was a massive twat, system that means the cashier is nothing more than a drone sucks. The customer wouldn't get anywhere with that idiotic attitude anyway. The removal of power from the cashier is what makes people think they can act like this.

No shit, sadly most readers here are too thick to read what I wrote and just froth pathetically. No wonder retail workers end up so exploited if basic reading is beyond them.
