I remember texting with T9, and I still used proper grammar and punctuation. Those abbreviations drove me nuts back then and they do even more now, since we have full keyboards that are way easier to use.

I had to scroll way too far to see this answer. The PS2 is the only one I never owned. I realize it’s possibly one of the greatest game systems ever made but like you, I just don’t have fond memories of it. A friend of mine had one and we’d play it together but he only ever wanted to play FF and I never did like that series.

I didn’t get the master sword on my second playthrough until I’d completed all the shrines so I could pull it wearing the wild set.

Around here it’s average journeyman pay. I’m at $28 and it would be hard for me to change employers and still make that much, unless I change to a commission job which I’m not going to do (for personal reasons I’m not going to get in to).

I get paid by the hour, a little more than $25, and my goal at every job is to make sure the customer is more than satisfied.

Keep the Kohler it’s a good toilet. And call a real plumber, not a salesman.

For reference, he wants nearly $500 for a hose Bibb replacement. I replaced 2 on someone’s house yesterday and charged $250. That’s one hour of labor, 2 bibbs and 2 vacuum breakers.

I know many people, quite a few in these comments even, don’t like them because they’re doing the cashier’s job, or it’s taking jobs away from people, or things like that, and I really do see these as valid reasons.

For me personally, if it means I don’t have to talk to someone I will gladly check out my own items and bag them myself.

That would have been high about 10 years ago. Now it’s low. If they really are bringing it properly up to code.

ETA there’s a company here that charges $1900 for a water heater changeout and they literally only change the water heater and supply lines. They don’t even attempt to bring it up to code, and if a tech does go buy the parts and install the water heater properly he gets in trouble for it.

I got a 28 day ban over there a while back because I googled something. The topic had become about electrical grounding and I looked it up to see if what they were doing would work. But “professionals don’t use google so you get a 28 day ban.”

A few years ago someone gave me their switch after hearing I hadn’t played BotW or TotK. He had both games (as well as quite a few others) downloaded onto it. I’ve played through BotW twice and am on my second TotK playthrough.

I’m with you on that. My father in law replaced his tv because he thought his was broken. After the “broken” one sat unused for several months he decided to plug it in and realized it still works. He gave it to us. That was more than 10 years ago, and we still have it. It doesn’t get used for more than streaming YouTube kids and Disney+ though.

This set makes me want to fight Ganondorf with nothing but knights weapons and a single heart. What causes actual damage and not just rupee damage? I’ve never had enough rupees to try this armor out.

ALttP is my all time favorite game. I really really don’t like the idea of remaking it. What I would love is if they released a Switch version of it (not the subscription nonsense).

I would love this idea. The other commenter is probably right in that they wouldn’t likely sell two games in a single title, but I bet they could do it.

And to top it off, add the third Oracle game that never got made. One full game- The Legend of Zelda: Oracles.
