I don't think I said it's beyond critique. If someone thinks the design is overly sexualized, that's a perfectly valid opinion. My point was that it's also not inherently weird or shameful for someone else to enjoy a stylized pin up interpretation.

Humans have been creating art that emphasizes the female form for tens of thousands of years. Prehistoric Venus figurines, for example, deliberately exaggerate features like the breasts, hips, and buttocks. We don't know exactly why they were made, but they show that accentuating female sexual characteristics in art is nothing new. So while you can absolutely criticize this particular design, I don't think it's reasonable to suggest that people who appreciate it are somehow deserving of ridicule.

Australia Shepherd - very easy to train. High energy. Strong herding instinct, and they have a tendency to nip a lot when they're young. Great dogs though, can't go wrong here. My family has had 4 total since I was a kid and their personalities are all vastly different. First was extremely territorial and very independent, second was friendlier but HATED people in her face, 3rd was friendly but EXTREMELY high energy and harder to train, and the 4th (current) one is very friendly, loves kids, super affectionate, and loves hugs and kisses. I suspect the 4th dog is so friendly because she was raised with my 2 daughters when they were toddlers. She firmly believes she's "one of the girls", because my mom watched my kids 5 days a week while my wife and I were working when they were infants/toddlers.

American Eskimo - super loyal dog. Fairly easy to train, but prone to separation anxiety. VERY HIGH prety drive (really couldn't trust her off leash because she'd bolt to catch a bird). Pretty independent. She was my first dog that I bought for myself as an adult. She was with me from age 24-36. So yea, we went through early adulthood together and I still miss her.

Golden Doodle - easiest dog I've ever trained, even easier than an Aussie (and thats saying something). Extremely loyal and affectionate. Loves hugs, kissed, etc. Would crawl into your skin if they could. Essentially a perfect dog (my opinion). My family got her 2 weeks before we had to put the Eskie down, so we had virtually no time for her in that span of time (we were all taking care of the Eskie with kidney failure). How my Doodle got trained is beyond me. I guess she realized we were all stressed out and figured it out on her own.

Mini poodle - Extremely hard to train. Very loyal and affection (just as much as the doodle). Tons of separation anxiety. Great with kids. My daughter got her as an bday present 2 years ago because she wanted a dog smaller than the Doodle (who is 85 lbs). She's not really my cup of tea because of the training issues, but she's definitely great with children, and she gets along very well with the doodle.

I love(d) all my dogs. But theres something about my Golden Doodle that basically makes her the most perfect dog I've ever had. She's 5, so she still has a long life ahead of her. But I already know I'll be an inconsolable mess when she crosses that rainbow bridge.
