I think I actually have one of these exact devices, and I was surprised to see that it just bluetooths to my PC as a standard joystick HID - which means with an AHK script I can pretty much map the buttons and joystick to do anything.

For Temperance I think Ugin is a good fit.

For the World, I'm not sure. The art for Crucible of Worlds would be neat, but if you're specifically looking for a character idk

Magma logo spotted! Hamtai!

LordThade

What the other comment said, but try ⬐ instead

LordThade

Univeria Zekt and Offering are other closely related Vander projects.

Kōenji Hyakkei is a Japanese group heavily inspired by Magma.

I also very much recommend Neptunian Maximalism and le Grand Sbam as groups that I'd argue are zeuhl-adjacent while being very different from Magma specifically.

Oh God, a portal to the bottom of a planar ocean opening literally anywhere is a real nightmare for everyone involved, but the writers could do the funniest thing in the world here and make the Fomori the second worst thing to suddenly appear at the center of Ixalan...

LordThade

Ok, hear me out: they mentioned an apocalyptic threat at the bottom of the ocean...

Any chance this is where Marit Lage is from?

It looks to me like that internal component that kind of looks like a tuning fork might be the base of an incandescent bulb that the filament has broken on. In that case, I imagine the knob that rotates the cylinder might change the angle of the light and the knob that does nothing might be a dimmer of some sort. I don't have anything to base this on besides a lot of work doing electronics repair though, and certainly nothing that old

My main is Barad-Dir, since it's a large imposing black tower that was originally meant to be a file server.

The NAS is a mini itx case that I have mapped to X:/, solely for the purpose of calling it "Little NAS X:/"

That's ...odd. A couple things you could try:

  • Does it stay backwards if you swap it to your off hand?
  • Does dropping the item and picking it up change anything?
  • What about in third person (f5)?
  • Or after reloading textures (f3 + t)?
  • How about changing your main hand (options > skin customization) to left, and then back?

For what it's worth, I have a linguistics degree, and the actual facts and terms and reasoning here are all pretty damn solid, picking W in specific feels slightly arbitrary but I can't think of any particularly convincing arguments for or against G/K/L either so as far as I'm concerned, this is all fair game and the waluigi part is just a fun bonus

LordThade

Seriously, I'll second what someone else said - these could easily pass as secret lairs or mystical archive prints. Gorgeous work!

LordThade

Depending on your intended version/loader, I found some possible options here:

Not all of them sound like what you're going for but some are close I think.

(Also, shoutout to the search utility above - I found it once and never looked back)

LordThade

This is wild, I will read as much of this as you are willing to make

LordThade

Oh God, I remember this, AND not understanding you had to click and drag to swing a sword. I literally pressed every button on my keyboard and mouse trying to attack.

LordThade

When they said the first few rows were a splash zone they really weren't kidding...

LordThade

I admittedly have to clean maybe one paintbrush a year at this point, but it sucks so much every time, this is absolutely something I'd look into getting if I were painting frequently.

LordThade

I think there's a mod called Tip The Scales that lets you adjust the scale of gui elements individually - not sure it's the exact solution to this problem but I can't imagine it wouldn't be useful somehow for this setup

These people seem culturally and technologically equipped to make insane aqueducts

LordThade

Oh wow, same here

Edit: found it, /r/lairoflords

I'm skeptical about the 3d printing substance and it's durability, but I absolutely swear by my T-Handles, if you can make these work I'd definitely be looking into printing some myself

LordThade

This is actually a really cute idea! I'm gonna do it with Magic the Gathering card art I think. Thanks for sharing
