Sightly, no end in sad.

LostThyme

Why was I not told of this! 😡😍

The problem with science is that nothing is "basic", just oversimplification to the point that it becomes a lie.

Heat is an energy property of mater. Space without mater has no heat, therefore it's cold. But that means heat can't transfer anywhere without a medium. So things in space stay hot.

And everything I just said could be picked apart as wrong by someone willing to put more time into the explanation, but it's basically right.

Come on man. Ask yourself what purpose a prison is for and what about your prison does not accomplish that purpose.

So, are these posts just not welcome here? I've gotten 4 downvotes and while I'm not expecting to generate hype, I didn't think they'd be actively disliked.
I was going to post about my next draft that I thought was a total screwup, but actually got me 5 wins and I'm wondering if one good card really made up for the train wreck that was the other 39, but...

LostThyme

This is nearly everyone's first mod. If you can get pawns to do this with a trick, why shouldn't they just do it by default?

LostThyme

I rigged up a spreadsheet to input unity rates and estimate how long it would take to fill out ascension. That can be useful.

I think it's less that they personally hate the episodes, but they think the common folk would hate the episodes and judge fans for liking the show in general.
They must establish that they are respectable, normal people, and not like those other degenerates.

Maybe someone else at his firm did all the detail work and he just talked his way into a win. Sounds like his M.O.

LostThyme

Well I wanted Anomaly primarily for the reading, so...

Okay, that makes sense. It reminds him that it's not real.

I've seen it all. The use of random to describe Morty is itself, quite random.

LostThyme

That's not random though. Son of the daughter of his alt-universe doppelganger is very specific. Much closer than Kevin Bacon that's for sure.

LostThyme

Explain it like I'm stupid. How is Morty a random kid, and why would it be more weird to have your grandson with you than a kid who calls him by his first name?

LostThyme

Yeah, the humans became the leaders, then the hyperspace flux (event from the game that prevented ship movement) became frequently reoccurring and lasting decades at a time. So planets were isolated and unwilling to rely on others even when hyperspace was open and civilization regressed.

A lot of old games have such heavy consequences to loss that I can't imagine anyone not save scumming. I don't know if that was the designer's intention, but it's naive to think someone would lose great resources due to random bad draws and accept it when they could reload.

Sensor "power" isn't really used. The game just directly adds to range.
It was used in GC3 to counter the practice of having one cargo ship full of sensors cover the whole map by having each range increase require more power. They seem to have just forgotten about it this time.
Ironically the sensor power stat is used in starbase sensors, which doesn't need it because it's already a set upgrade progression that could be done with just adding to range.

Anyone look for this on YouTube and not find it? It used to be easy to find, but now this specific version seems to be missing.

LostThyme

Yeah, that was the backstory established for MoO3.

LostThyme

Paint. Growing plants for dye isn't a pragmatic choice, but if you optimize for function in your layout you can still make sure it doesn't all look the same.

LostThyme

This also bothers me as it takes away from the story generator nature of the game. There's a mod that lets you write in-game notes with dates, but manually doing that leads to me forgetting.

LostThyme

Good call. With those changes I won two more games before coincidentally losing to the deck I should have drafted. It was red-white with Fili and dwarves and filled the board real quick. All the best cards I saw in the first packs were white. Then seeing a top tier blue/white card in the second made it seem fated.
