My Oura ring screams at me and insomnia SUCKS. I’m similiar to you and meds don’t work on me to function after. So I wake at 4:30 sometimes back to sleep at 6 til 7 but usually I can’t go back to sleep.

If I could take FMLA or qualify for short term disability I would have and gotten it worked out. But I can’t so I’m in my therapy, got my psych NP, and regular doctor and my meds to keep me quasi functioning.

She doesn’t want help. Plain and simple.

Is there a law school near by or at least you could get leads from? Alumni offices and career services want to connect their recent grads for their own stats. If there’s a bankruptcy class, law clinic, or professor there you can try to establish a relationship to recognize talent and the right fit.

It sounds like you’re just a really niche practice area that doesn’t attract a bunch of folks.

An option may be: you have to do x amount of hours of bankruptcy and you can do your own book of what you want for x amount of hours. That may broaden your horizons for candidates if that’s what is holding folks back.

You can also post through your bar association (state and local) or post on the ABA bankruptcy boards on their site.

Go on LinkedIn and headhunt. It’s not weird coming from the managing partner who is hiring.

I love the colors but the fabric in the skirt isn’t forgiving and just a little too tight that I think when you sit it may be too tight.

Aside from that though, if you feel good in it, maybe it’s just the lighting. If you’re comfortable sitting in it, rock that outfit because it is adorable. I absolutely love that rich red with that cream. It’s very unique.

If you have a Bach in STEM go do patent law! There’s always folks looking and the patent office has been hiring examiners more and more.

I switched practice areas after a decade and had to learn a new area. Trust me no one will blink an eye.
