KD really had to do so much for that Sooner defense. He was out there playing the slot, then sliding back to safety, and then coming back up in the box all on the same drive at times. I’m not surprised at all he’s doing awesome.

Thanks man, I appreciate you. I just couldn’t get why so many people were low on him considering all he was asked to do on that Oklahoma defense last year and how well his size/athleticism fits in the modern NFL. I love this guy.

I’m honestly happy with either shadow or not for the whites, and I agree about the grays. They are perfect.

My biggest issue is what you said: the black jerseys need the white shadow. The current ones are terrible, and I have no idea how anyone could think it was an upgrade to take the white away.

Klubnik is a guy we want to develop as a long term backup. I think we really need to give him some reps this year so we have a better idea of what we have. I don’t expect him to play super well, but we have enough dudes on offense to make giving him a look worthwhile.

My four are Jerome Brown, Ed Reed, Michael Irvin, and Sean Taylor. Hard to bump any of them.

I love these, and I think sprinkling them in is a great decision. The one issue is the same issue they’ve always had, and that’s with the green stripe to nowhere and the trapezoid of white under the sleeve cap. These are simply unis designed with a totally different era/jersey style in mind, and we’ve never properly modernized them.

That all said, there is no prettier helmet in the league than the Jets green lid. It’s absolutely perfect, and the color when the sun hits it just right is so wonderfully unique in major football (college or pro). The unis are basic, which is fine. The numbers give it a unique flair without being cartoony. It’s exactly what you want a uniform to be.

They look like the Rough Riders if you can only see color and not like, shapes or designs or anything.

I honestly think more teams will go independent in the near future than the opposite.

Why wouldn’t Ohio State opt to go independent if they get a guaranteed TV deal for their games and not have to listen to any conference rules? Why wouldn’t ESPN/Fox prefer the à la carte choosing of schools vs having to pay $75 million to Illinois and Vanderbilt?

Arch has shitty mechanics on a lot of his throws so it’s up and down, but you can tell he’s got it when he really lets that thing go. There were times early on when I also questioned it, but you see those flashes to remind you when you really sit down and watch him.

I feel the opposite about how the names sound. Tampa Bay Devil Rays has a wonderfully parallel structure to it.
