2018 xlt 5.0 4wd. 321,000 and counting. Original everything except rebuilt the trans at 287,000. Still runs great and gives me 21-23 mpg.

Jockey outlets or online.

My favorite brand as well. I have the same pair.

He saw my tail one day while we were working. We were out of town working a job together. He asked about It at dinner that night. No crazy questions just about comfort and why. I explained and then offered to give him one. I had a couple brand new Jockey thongs. He tried It the next day and within a couple weeks told me he had converted over to thongs everyday.

Lumpy_Diamond_6113

No but it’s cool to know another blue collar guy that wears them everyday.

Lumpy_Diamond_6113

Girlfriend and one coworker know. I converted that coworker to thongs after I gave him a new one of mine to try.

Lumpy_Diamond_6113

My neighbor saw me in my backyard once. We have been friends for years and she asked me how long I have been wearing thongs. Of course she asked me before I knew she had seen my thong.

Well with 319k she does consume a bit of oil now. I used to change every 7-9k because all of my miles are highway miles. Now I go 4k between changes and usually have to add a quart between changes. I check It before every trip. I travel for work and carry about 800 lbs of tools all the time.

Honestly I just went to Autozone and bought a non oiled cone filter that fit. I don’t have the link anymore.

Lumpy_Diamond_6113

My recommendation is to get a filter that doesn’t need to be oiled. The oil will eventually gum up your MAP sensor. I use a non oiled filter on my K&N pipe after having to clean my MAP sensor

Lumpy_Diamond_6113

The air filter is a K&N cold air set up. The coil packs are Andy Granatelli 5.0 yellow top coil packs. Don’t remember the actual name. I ordered them both from Summit Racing. It has been about 4 years and close to 200k on the coil packs. I’m going to be replacing them as a precaution soon but they are still going strong. I have driven this truck over 14k since July 1st and It has never let me down. Knock on wood.

The other thing I forgot to add. Bilstein shocks all the way around. Significant improvement in ride and drivability. I also have always ran super unleaded and used synthetic oil.

Lumpy_Diamond_6113

I have an 18 same as yours OP. Just rolled 319k today. Rebuilt the trans at 287k. Motor runs great. Stay on top of your oil and check It often as this year model was known to use oil. Change your trans fluid and filter every 60k. I put higher voltage coil packs in my truck with an open element air filter and routinely get 22-23 mpg. Also have your transfer case and front and rear diffs serviced when you do your transmission service. I also upgraded the brake rotors and pads to slotted rotors and Akibono pads. Truck stops much better. Have fun and enjoy your truck.

That is an amazingly hot picture. How did that feel to do that in the the water.

Lumpy_Diamond_6113

Lumpy_Diamond_6113

I drive about 35-40k a year sometimes more.

Lumpy_Diamond_6113

I drive a 2018 5.0 4wd and just rolled 318,000. I rebuilt the trans at 287 and change. My goal is to get to 500k or more.
