Senna wouldn’t be interested any more

LuxtheAstro

It’s Peta. This is what they do

LuxtheAstro

It’s actually already unlawful under the 2002 I v UK decision that created the caselaw alongside Goodwin v UK. Hospital segregation was specifically mentioned

I have a trans theology group I’m part of, and we basically all have some level of religious trauma, and mostly from the same national organisation. Evangelical Christians who are non-affirming can do huge amounts of harm, both deliberately and accidentally. It can cost people their faith and lead to bad feelings on both sides

LuxtheAstro

Can’t be sedimentary about finding a replacement

LuxtheAstro

Nuclear just isn’t quick enough. Onshore and offshore wind farms, solar arrays and batteries are quick and easy(ish) to build, and could be started tomorrow

If you know how to fall, it’s really fun. Cheek to cheek in the tackle, and land on your knee. If you fuck it up, like landing on your wrist after a heavy tackle, you can end up in plaster for a few weeks, for a completely random example not at all based on 11 year old me

LuxtheAstro

The gaps were measured with a tape measure, but that is the easy part. Weight and swept paths would take much longer and require a huge amount more work

LuxtheAstro

Doesn’t help narrow it down that much

LuxtheAstro

Turns out when you don’t spend much/anything on infrastructure it’s really easy to outspend it

LuxtheAstro

I’d rather go to the place with a 3 rating and the worst photos you’ve ever seen

“AI companies don’t know what a sandbox environment is, so the worms keep navigating out of their servers onto their partners” FTFY

Tbf, I had to go looking for the motion that got fast tracked, the trans greens are fairly active but the party hasn’t really pushed them a huge amount.

LuxtheAstro

We passed 2 motions at conference to boost our voice on trans people. The first was unbanning puberty blockers, which was fast tracked, and the motion to unfreeze Welsh surgeries (and train Welsh surgeons) was passed near unanimously

LuxtheAstro

Not having a straw?? It’s not my fault you need someone to explain how to do basic problem solving

LuxtheAstro

Turn it 90° to the side. Now it goes past your cheek, problem solved!

I literally just said I work overtime sometimes. I’m not saying no overtime, I’m saying 50% minimum overtime suggests a culture of poor work/life balance and inadequate working conditions, both of which are frequent causes of industrial action

LuxtheAstro

Because that’s a sign of poor management. I’ve worked overtime as a part time worker because it’s been beneficial and agreed (in my most recent cases) months beforehand, for training and the like.

They work on a ship, which runs for a limited amount of trips. The “work being done” is the ship going from point to point all day until it returns to the harbour. Repairs might take time, but again, the hours are known beforehand. If you can double your pay with overtime, even with 1.5 or 2 times the pay per hour, you’re adding minimum 50% to your working week. Which suggests they’re not employing enough people.

LuxtheAstro

“They can double their wages with overtime” is not the argument they think it is

LuxtheAstro

Fun fact about the Green Party: it was just conference (I was there), and the 1800 members who voted was everyone present. The party votes at conference on policies and is the supreme authority on such decisions. Leadership, committee and executive are all unable to overrule conference.

This is not a flaw, it’s a feature.

LuxtheAstro

It was written for children, it was already somewhat sanitised you dingbat

LuxtheAstro

“Equalities minister admits she would have broken equalities law” should be the headline from that conversation, but it won’t be

LuxtheAstro

We had entire fake battalions for D-Day and the war in North Africa. Mind fucks was 90% of British warfare

LuxtheAstro

So she charges her child a ~6% flat tax rate, but a 0.00 whatever % tax rate to herself, who is (in relative terms) extremely rich.

Just like our current tax system then

I had a temp job that had a single unit of Harry Potter stuff, I never put it anywhere else, and I never promoted it or suggested it. In the grand scheme of things, it’s pretty hard to stop it without losing your job
