The San Francisco bay is a bit bigger...

I hijacked a plane, obtained a huge ransom and a parachute, then jumped out with all the money.

Unfortunately Jimmy Hoffa happened to be hiding out where I landed and mugged me for the cash

MacDerfus

I called Denver in 6, and I'm sticking to it

MacDerfus

Bam had a good rebounding night. His assignment had a better one.

MacDerfus

Curses can cancel out right?

MacDerfus

Kinda hard to fixate on the easter egg when they got an entire Egypt wrong

MacDerfus

Thats more a quirk of the mechanics

MacDerfus

They all went to numidia

MacDerfus

El cid being the faction leader for all rebels was a laugh

MacDerfus

Poorest egyptian soldiers being dressed in ceremonial clothes of Pharaon himself

Nah it's like the super bowl loser shirts, they get the clothes of the heirs who didn't become pharoah

MacDerfus

They should have put ptolemaic Egypt in Pharoah

MacDerfus

Also units were bad at targeting the dogs themselves.

Their downsides were that if the handler died, all his attached dogs would as well, and dogs could chase routing units off the map and remove themselves from the battle.

MacDerfus

"But they could use them against y-"

No, they really fucking don't do that. Maybe sometimes the tomb kings turn on the sandblaster at the right time, or morghur does his thing. But I almost never see a nurglite attrition plague

MacDerfus

It raises questions like why even have the mechanic

MacDerfus

Attrition is only useful if you can get it on AI when they'd normally be replenishing, idk why factions seem to be designed around using it when youd be lucky for it to reduce an opposing army to 90% strength before you face off against it

MacDerfus

All I can say about the sudden charge point is that it isn't something most monks have to worry about. And flurry is already a two-fer as a subordinate action, which i guess puts it in a weird position.

MacDerfus

Jon can learn a lesson many times

MacDerfus

Yeah, he didn't realize he could sprint and melee immediately in the previous episode, as the game doesn't explicitly tell you that. But he figured it out the following turn at least. And also if he did melee at that point he'd have had his Ranger in Jane Kelly levels of cover.

MacDerfus

I feel like most monsters with physical weaknesses and resistances favor blunt and slashing damage over piercing.

What sorts of monsters are specifically more susceptible to piercing than other physical damage types?

MacDerfus

I'd either make mantis lunge two actions, or replace flurry with strike and make it a flourish to be in line with most other action-saving activities.

MacDerfus

We are building a better arceus

MacDerfus

A good bowel movement isn't meant to be rushed.

MacDerfus

It doesn't matter why or if it makes sense strategically. They may as well be approached from the assumption that they want to kill as many people in Ukraine as possible without launching nukes.

MacDerfus

Mys-tery

MacDerfus

Plus he's getting turned by someone who doesn't know how to be a vampire
