And 7th place German team beat 7th place spanish team 6-1 on aggregate. Youre right though, the result involving a premier league team is somehow relevant
MachuMichu
I guess you cant count to 1 because Messi would have won the golden boot without the 3rd place game
MachuMichu
Neither is common sense yours
MachuMichu
Not one that shitty, no
MachuMichu
Your 4th best team is now fighting relegation and the mid table Spanish teams like Celta were getting demolished by Freiburg in Europa. Things change
MachuMichu
Again, what relevance does RM winning CL in 2024 and Sevilla winning Euorpa in 2023 have to the 25/26 ballon dor discussion? Germany was better in Europe last season, the one we are talking about
Bayern was a better team than Barca last season, yes
MachuMichu
The fuck does Sevilla have to do with this conversation? Why would results from 5+ years ago be relevant to a discussion about this year's ballon dor
MachuMichu
I'm sorry but La Liga isnt any less of a farmer's league than Bundesliga. The results in Europe prove this. The only difference is its harder to win La Liga because theres 2 elite teams instead of 1, but its not any different in terms of padding stats
MachuMichu
No it tells that Mbappe scored 7 goals against Kairat and Olympiacos and 3 in the WC 3rd place joke game that Kane didnt even play. If you want to give him a ballon d'or for that then go ahead I guess
MachuMichu
Sure you are buddy. Why dont you post all your shorts
MachuMichu
Calling it bad but not horrible is really stupid. No manager can tolerate that from a player. He forced the manager's hand and essentially got himself benched for a match that was a must win for the manager, while he himself is supposedly the team's captain and best player.
He's also been complete shit this season and used a club legend as a scapegoat for his poor play, who has accomplished way more at the club than he has
MachuMichu
Theyve burned 10B and are making 1B in quarterly GAAP operating profit while growing at a historic rate. You may want to go back to business and/or maths school
MachuMichu
Just exposes they didnt actually watch the match
MachuMichu
Fabian checks the box of started and won the two biggest competitions of the year. It's stupid but some voters are determined for that to be the criteria
MachuMichu
Agreed German teams always surprise people in Europe and they still get disrespected
MachuMichu
Point the finger at your moronic player that threw the game Max
MachuMichu
Third goal he couldve done better but Mancini faked like he would block the shot then jumped out of the way at the last second, it's really hard for a keeper to read
MachuMichu
Good result all things considered. Soule was great and his goal gave the team confidence. Balerdi is incredible, seems to fit perfectly in this system and is always having an impact on the match
MachuMichu
Not really fair to Gollini, he made some great saves
MachuMichu
Beukema cost his team the match faking an injury then is still crying about it after the final whistle 🤣 please stop embarassing yourself
MachuMichu
Yildiz, Bremer and Locatelli. Possibly Kalulu could get some minutes at fullback as well.

I have no desire to engage with you any further lol. You already showed your true colours. You also hand waved away hard statistics that go against your claims, then tried to pivot the conversation to stock price when thats not what was being discussed at all (nor is it a representation of market share in any way). Enjoy your Saturday

I think the lack of a clear vision means players are always being used in many different roles and positions. Seems like you always have 3-4 different strikers with different profiles and throw them out onto the pitch one at a time hoping one will work. Can't decide if you want to play a 3 atb or 4 atb, while each needs specific types of players to work. You don't really have pure wingers, just a bunch of #10s that you rearrange in different ways. I don't think it's the best way to get the most out of players, but it is also a plague for a lot of big clubs, not just Juve. But really, in most cases the players just weren't good enough.
I don't think Roma is necessarily that much higher quality than Juve, but we have synergy with much cheaper players because Gasperini knows what he wants for his system. He saw Malen and knew that was the type of striker he wanted based on his first touch and decisiveness. And if we bring in a player that doesnt fit, Gasperini forces the player to adapt his style instead of chopping and changing to conform to the player.

That's definitely part of why they fell from being one of Europe's best clubs but doesnt fully explain how far they've fallen. They still spend tons of money, their recruitment is just horrible.
They are like the Man United of Italy. Trying to run their club like a conglomerate and expecting managers to be able to step in and make it work with a bunch of overrated random players. And at the same time, they are desperate to cling onto being a big team so they are always desperately looking for quick fixes instead of having a clear vision.
The quality of players they have now is just embarassing for the money they spend and compared to what their standards used to be. There is probably only 2-3 players in the current squad who would be good enough to have a role in the dominant Juve teams from last decade.
It's part of who he is as a player, he believes he will score every time he receives the ball. I wouldnt change it at all
