Where are my Texas 2a brothers at?

It’s sad but in this day and age, playing dumb is usually a great solution for too many situations. “What’s the problem? The light turned green so I hit the gas.”
MagBron
I have watched enough police body cam footage to know that these officers probably went back to their cruisers and tried to figure out that they could charge. When the cops don’t know what to charge someone with, don’t give them a disorderly conduct excuse. Take it to court, fight and win. I have no idea what the bank did or didn’t do.
MagBron
This is the dumbest argument. It’s on par with climate change deniers. Motivated reasoning and solution aversion. Fun fact, humans aren’t dogs and saying that pitbulls are dangerous animals is not the same as racism. All attacks by dogs are going to be bad, but pitbulls maul. The fact that the argument is always about how good the owner is, is strong evidence that the breed is at best, potentially dangerous. If how dangerous your pet is depends on how much of an animal training expert you are, I don’t want to be anywhere near them.
“Chihuahuas are actually more aggressive and bite more” Well I’ve never read a story about a Chihuahua killing and eating a person before.

I don’t want to get banned for encouraging violence so I will not encourage violence.

Being a soulless, inhuman, dead eyed virus is not going to fix the lack of motherly love this moron desperately craves.
MagBron
Seriously. Shut the fuck up, you deal with the devil life support mother fucker.

Waiting to read this. Yes they know there will be theft but this comment always is borderline defending the thievery. You don’t have to go as far as this dude saying that the thief should be shot, but is everybody in society just supposed to be cool with it? Obviously larger scale corporate theft is probably by the numbers way way worse. But these scumbags that rip off a Walmart are the same people smashing and grabbing from my vehicle. The same people that will say “oh the cops won’t do anything about it” are the same people that wouldn’t even call the police in the first place and are actively working to defund them.
When people start walking out of the store with a cart full of goods, not even hiding it, and nonchalantly walk to their vehicle and load it up and leave; you aren’t far away from having paid security at every entrance, along with gated entryways and having to wait for an employee to come, unlock a cabinet and have me tell them which kind of laundry detergent I want. I’ve seen it happen more than once and once is already enough. When thievery is accepted, on a small or large scale, everybody else suffers.
Edit: spelling errors

I get your points in theory and emotion but I don’t think they fit with real world solutions. Unrelated thing it reminds me of is the idea that “if you make owning a firearm illegal, then only criminals will have guns.” Yes, because now previously legal gun owners are criminals for owning guns. Big issues like crime aren’t solved by simple anecdotes or what sounds like a simple fix. They require bigger solutions that aren’t as simple as locking people up.
MagBron
Our current solution already is locking them up. Yet here we are. And I’m not sure what your argument about drugs is but the drug war hasn’t seemed to work like people hoped it would. Also, given the US rates of incarceration versus other nations, more incarceration doesn’t seem like the real solution.
MagBron
What is the “it” you’re referring to? Locking up these individuals does solve the problem of these individuals robbing/looting for a while at least. Believe me, my first thought was why doesn’t this guy have an AR-15 behind the counter. I have an obsession with justice but the solution to bigger economic issues isn’t more jail time or arrests, certainly not in the long run.
MagBron
At first I wasn’t with you but I agree. I know people will read this like it gives these people a pass, but I think you’re right. Shameful behavior but you don’t solve it by shooting or locking them up. You solve it by fixing the system.
MagBron
I think just youngins, but I could be wrong.
MagBron
I know this is Reddit but honestly this man got lucky these dogs weren’t a different breed. Could have ended much bloodier and/or death.
MagBron
Try every ICE agent that broke the law or violated the constitution and lock them in “Alligator Alcatraz”
MagBron
This is not Kristi Noem btw. This is Teresa Giudice from The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
MagBron
I get that and agree but it seems apparent that this news segment is addressing the presumed racist undertones of the song. If they weren’t, we wouldn’t have known about this for good reason. It’s a non story. The administration can stop the teacher from singing it, the teacher can apologize and people can move on.
MagBron
I think in preschool or kindergarten it was pretty common and a funny thing kids enjoyed. Same reason children songs like 3 little monkeys jumping on the bed exists. I wouldn’t sing it as a teacher myself but it’s very possible this teacher is oblivious to extremely offensive and dehumanizing racist insults like it is being assumed.
MagBron
I agree that this version is insensitive and a risky move for a teacher but I don’t think this is a race issue.
MagBron
Children are sponges and if he saw his mother upset about the video, he would probably mirror that in some way. If a student of hers was from a struggling family and had poorer living conditions, I could see that child being upset about being told they smell like a monkey. I think this a matter of an insensitive, goofy song and not racism.
MagBron
Majorly overblown non story. Something solved by the teacher explaining her intentions and the mother handling it with the administration of need be. Watch the longer version where after singing it the regular way, she asks the child if he’s like the “funny” version sang to him and he says yes.
MagBron
Did you watch the full version where after singing happy birthday the regular way, she asks him if he wants the “funny” version sung as well and he says yes? Edit: Changed silly to funny.
MagBron
You’ve been baited by a big non story. Watch the longer clip where after they sing happy birthday the normal way, she asks if he wants the silly version sung as well.
Fuck Israel.
