Doesn't look like it did, at least for me, I'd have hated Seonji getting paired with a literal persistent "harmless stalker" almost as much as the Chanyang crap so knowing both Yuna and Seungha never come back to the story on top of that? No thanks

I liked the conclusion but I am just a person who is usually not fond of when stories have absolutely no stakes and not even the bad guys get any real punishment but just 'get saved' . Tldr, as much as I liked the cast, I'd prefer it if not all of them made it out, and did not like how the story at the end undermined its own 'book devil' with the greenhair girl either

I liked the plot and gradually got attached to the cast kind of like how the mc gets attached to the cast. I am not fond of some of the cliches and some part of the ending, but overall it was a good and captivating read

I find this poster to beautifully portray the "bonds" in the circus [not the present day version but i guess season 1] .. Like we have Julia and Kamille connected [hands held] . Obviously Julia and Sahed connected through a shared goal, Kamille reaching for Rainah while Rainah is trying to reach Sahed for his recklessness and while not truly letting herself be open to Kamille yet. Tony is way too preoccupied with the entire circus to connect with anyone in particular, and he is burdened by the weight of the souls of times past [and the attic guy who has a hold on him]. Dotty and her husband are disconnected from the rest of the circus in a sense, but still part of it as they value the safety of their home above personal bonds ...and up there got Amalia targetting the circus while her hand is held by...Yerik? it's not shown but presumably (the ah'kon prisoners all reaching for Sahed too]

I root for him getting help, not a relationship, because it's obvious that his state has only gotten worse since that panel and that's actually terrible for any one human to live in on a daily basis. You really lose sight of reality and your own self as more time passes. Nobody should make another person responsible for their emotional survival imo, not Eunhyuk, not Dohwa, not Raim or anyone in that story

Really? I think this man has serious mental health issues and needs to be under a mental health team's treatment asap. Having audio-visual hallucinations of your ex who you abandoned and seeing her as her 17 year old self for 10 years is not healthy in the slightest. All these people trying to romanticize that Eunhyuk unilaterally decided what Suae feels and must be thinking and never reached out to her in the 1st year despite hallucinating her every day need some serious self-reflection as well... (not to mention never approaching her for 10 years either, and no, him not having the common sense to imagine people don't publicly fall apart, so seeing them smiling doesn't mean much isn't a good excuse. He himself acknowledges all he had is excuses) This man should not be in a relationship right now, his POV was very clear that whatever love he once felt got twisted along the way and Suae became a coping mechanism for his constantly deteriorating mental state (also don't ignore the reality that he did not even try to seek help or move on, he just continued to cycle over and over in the same rut). Once again, it does not matter what he did when he was a teen. It matters what he has continued doing as an adult pushing 30, time and again, even after Suae clearly has told him how she felt and what she wanted emotionally. It's fine if you shipped Soohyuk, but at this point, none of it is healthy or romantic, it's obsessive and misguided

As for Dohwa, the plot is kind of stupid, but it was inevitably going to happen. He did what he himself decided he wants to do. He didn't have to, and the clues have existed for a while that he may not have even been happy in the entertainment industry, so not sure his retirement is even something that he didn't just already think of doing

The Password is 002 though I'd argue it was kind of obvious the "ML" was never going to be the ML so not sure if it counts

Try Pyramid Game. It has an all-girl cast with no romance (though you will find people claiming it's Yuri/bait because they have lost sight of the reality that females can have close bonds with other females without romantic undertones)

author is a young(ish) guy in his 20s(well maybe he's 30 by now idk) so...Consider that this series was running for over 7 years. He might have had a better vision at the start and then lost the plot as he grew older..his stories started being the same slop that goes downhill halfway through unfortunately. He lost sight of his initial idea and decided to drag it out with nonsense instead from the looks of it. Like, why does Rira/Lila need to have 5 rejections only to still parade around the same obsessions over the MC? Did the author really have to make her this insufferable and pathetic? Did he REALLY need to introduce not one, but two girls who look like her clones too? and who end up as nothing but more harem bait...

I think it's because people saw they're not alone and started expressing their views more on reddit. It used to be a bullying spectacle in the webtoon comments against anyone who even tried to support or defend Seungha

Get used to it because it's just dragged out retcons and repetitive garbage from here on out. I think the arc that got him out of his edgelord state and the forced OOC NTR bait with Hamin after that are among the worst forced garbage in the story, only second/third to the arc showing the flashback of Daehyun's ex

I think that was included in my response but I'm sorry if it got lost in poor articulation. What I think is that there is a line in the sand where a great story is not going to keep me reading if the art is so weak that I can't even stand looking at it (or if it's so weak/unfitting that I can't take the great story seriously because it takes me out of the mood). Goes the other way around too. There are stories with amazingly beautiful art where the story is a steaming heap of garbage. I will not read those stories either, because there's a line in the sand for how bad a story can be as well, before it just won't keep me reading. So I can tell you I don't value one over the other too heavily, but a great story with "acceptably weak art" is indeed better by and large
