The reason they put it on the top is because in the west slabs are treated as documentation for inventory / money making, not card preservation (the slabs are very weak) and presentation (art galleries put their documents on the bottom, not top)

Had mental issues since a kid that got worse since military service, being here makes me much happier than back in America. I don’t feel isolated or lonely, but I prefer to be by myself / with my dog / wife / a friend sometimes, so it’s hard for me to feel that anyway. Do you have an idea of what makes you feel that way?

Doesn’t make it any less ruined for some people. I love collecting and have a decent sized collection but I’d never let someone sign one of my cards. I respect the opinion of those that do it, but from my point of view it ruins the card
