nobody is forcing you to install dependencies from npm. anything that is on npm can be built yourself in JS if you wanted, and there’s nothing malicious about js itself. you only install dependencies that are trusted and if you see a good use for it

can’t run them? what does that even mean? buddy the open source community is full of very reputable well maintained packages, and it’s the dev’s responsibility to audit any package they bring into a project. At least have a deeper understanding of a topic before making such claims

Hm i eventually moved away from hosting with ECS and i deploy it serverless to Lambdas using SST now (pretty much a makeshift Vercel setup). SST uses Open-Next to generate a CDN that connects to either lambdas and s3 - the default cache policy is pretty good!
