So Coherus has deliberately turned itself into a focused oncology company, has a commercial PD-1 drug generating growing revenue, and is approaching multiple clinical readouts that could substantially change the value of its share price… they better announce the buyout soon!

I’ve become more bullish on CHRS after digging into the commercial opportunity of LOQTORZI. I read a recent analysis that its NCCN preferred status gives it a monopoly or moat compared to biosimilars. The main things I’m watching for now are the commercial execution, cash runway, and upcoming pipeline readouts, as those will likely affect long-term value. From what I’ve gafhered, the market is prob underestimating loqtorzi’s commercial potential, I’m a little less cautious about execution and financial risk after recent figures.

CHRS and DRTS

MaxInPhilly

The commercial execution of LOQTORZI is most important.

People think it’s about drug discovery and development. Im investing in the tech long term. In silica trials, model informed drug development and discovery (midd), immune-oncology, and personalized-medicine. Follow the fda and clinical standards guidance long term.

Some news or insight on the setup would be great

Yeah just for formatting really sometimes I can’t write as fluently as ai.

Got any links you can share?

Extreme DD and patience

Same!

Indeed! I’ll be tuning in but there are other catalysts to oook out for. For me there are signals that they’ve shifted from growth at any cost to commercial-execution.

MaxInPhilly

It does haha so that’s a positive. the J&J partnership provides the institutional signal plus were waiting for the upcoming Phase 2 data catalysts

You’re right that data is the ultimate judge, but the math looks good to me. We're watching a de-risked commercial asset with major drops for casdzokitug and tagmokitug landing in 2H 2026. The market is pricing this extremely low imo.

MaxInPhilly

You’re more than welcome to share it! It’s a sub for memes more than DD/research so I usually get distracted if I visit there :D

Also CHRS

The disconnect between the share price and the actual enterprise value is primed for a correction. The fact that CFO Bryan McMichael just accepted options at this price is a massive "tell" that leadership views this as a structural floor.

MaxInPhilly

No one wants that! But I do think that they are about to gain value due to a legally protected segment with a payer-friendly therapy! Other PD-1 therapies, like Keytruda, lack the clinical data and regulatory status to compete here.

MaxInPhilly

Fair points on the cash burn and dilution risk.
On the pricing though, I think a 20% discount is more about market access than the drug’s quality. A lower price makes it easier for payers to cover LOQTORZI, which means better reimbursement, fewer hurdles for doctors, and more patients getting the drug. For a first commercial launch, that can be more valuable than charging a premium. I can see it generating significant revenue imo.

NPC is a horrible cancer and CHRS offers the best treatment currently. There are no alternatives in the foreseeable future than Loqtorzi. They also have automatic payer coverage compared to other therapies for NPC. This is a company about to turn a corner.

The capital investment firms who issue the debt also take a stake in those companies and actually want them to succeed. In this case it is highly probable that CHRS’ financiers are anticipating a return on their stock holdings. Often lending is tied to stock deals and those investors take a seat on the board.

Management has locked in the randomized Phase 2 data readout for casdozokitug and Phase 1b/2a data for tagmokitug for mid-year and 2H 2026, so they’ll follow the clinical timelines rather than earnings calls. Im confident they’ll have a strong balance sheet and reduction in debt. J&J clinical partnership and major upcoming data drops also should push this closer to analysts price target.

MaxInPhilly

They reduced r&d expenses and increased loqtorzi revenue too

MaxInPhilly

They actually have 160m+. The 50+m was just a strategic top-off according to seekingalpha

MaxInPhilly

It’s not available and often rejected for NPC sadly
