My entire setup costs ~20€ and my only recurring expense is the garbage bag I collect the hair in and the little electricity the trimmer pulls.

They used Unix Time to measure. The baseline is 01-01-1970 00:00:00. If September 2 1820 is -5M and August 16 1820 is -6M, then -5M > -6M, which makes sense why it prompts as such.
