Gladly, I'll DM you

Unfortunately not at the moment. I can send you the HTML to open it on a computer if you'd like. Just if you want to use some of the material.

They keep talking about how violent and depressing Doomsday is going to be, I actually think the odds for the movie are looking better and better.

Am I mistaken in thinking that that is a very similar piece to the one that flew off of Top Thrill and struck the woman? I know that that piece was an l-shaped flag plate.
I don't know, Cedar Point is my favorite park and I was there earlier this summer, but I'm fearful for the chain. Every bad story moves the company further and further towards bankruptcy.

Interesting. I had heard that these did have sensors for each seat, so that is interesting to learn. There are some pictures of the man falling out in this comment section, but they are disturbing. Not very graphic but definitely frightening.
MecGuy2
I'm not sure, but since they are saying he fell against the cart three times, you almost wonder how long he was out of his seat bouncing around before exiting the cart.
MecGuy2
That's true, though it's hard to say that a B&M ride would dispatch without all restraints first being locked, so it's hard to believe it never locked into place at all. It must have clicked in enough to start the ride, and then somehow loosened enough for a larger man to fully exit the seat. It is very clearly more open in the on-ride photos.
MecGuy2
I agree that it was likely on faulty maintenance. Usually I tend to remember the cases where riders have been too big and the restraints haven't fully locked. But if I'm not mistaken, the restraint unlocked at the end of the ride, which you would think would have happened earlier in the course.
MecGuy2
Nope
MecGuy2
Truly shocking. Usually it comes down to operator error, but I don't believe there has been another incident of mechanical restraint failure on a B&M leading to a death. Doesn't look like operator error so far.

Other Six Flags locations have closed their B&M clamshell hyper and giga coasters out of precaution. If Kings Island were open today, that would include Diamondback and Orion. Same would go for Thunder Striker and Fury 325 at Carowinds.
MecGuy2
Yes, me too. No idea what they did but hope they fix it
MecGuy2
I truly underestimated how bad it would be. Does not listen to prompts even remotely.

I have a spare space right off Mill Street in a private driveway you could use. Just send me a message if you're interested.
