I think you really need to sit down and work out a master plan if you want your family to make it. The few successfully hagwons I know of around my hood are either run by conglomerates, you know the Cheongdams and SLPs, or by single, childless and unmarried women. The work is demanding and takes a toll. My wife suffered a temporary facial paralysis in our first year of opening. It passed but stress is a constant in the hagwon business.

The money was decent, but money isn't enough to sustain a business. Right now we manage a property that is borderline a steal which is why 6 students are enough to cover the cost and have some left over. Its survival.
