I like to think that Des really only loved Mark for how dependable he is in helping her to prove herself to her dad. After the first Spark, she really only saw him as the only thing that made her wishes come true, and started to heavily depend on him, without maintaining that strong mindset of hers that thinks everyone in the team is as equally important in making things perfectly. She became too comfortable with how things went, especially since now 2 orgs were in charge this time.

Surely we can only imagine what could have been😢

I've only played Sofia's story for now, but from what I've seen it takes place after Act 1, where (spoiler) Cathy dies , and how Sofia herself deals with the loss. I think the story doesn't look back too much of the details of Act 1 other than the main points, and there are flash backs too, so you'll be fine probs.

I wished the DLC showed Sofia and Cathy together, they would be so cool together😭
