No. He begged to die after a week of treatment saying “I can’t take it anymore I’m not a guinea pig” his family kept begging the doctors to keep him alive. His literal chromosomes were destroyed and unidentifiable, there was no saving him. Without chromosomes your body is literally unable to regenerate even a single cell since it doesn’t have the “instructions” to anymore. His DNA was torn apart. Stomach and skin cells literally regenerate every few days. Even your bones and muscle cells regenerate every few years. He would never be able to survive. It’s not an exaggeration to say they tortured this man

I took about 25-30 when I was a teenager 10 years ago. It took a few hours to kick in but you will have to go to the hospital. I was puking nonstop until I was puking up dark green bile, like the literal colour of a Christmas tree, that smelled like wet dog.. like the worst thing I’ve ever smelled in my life.
Luckily the doctor said I didn’t get liver damage but they said I very easily could have I was just lucky.
I’m not trying to scare you but you will feel AWFUL
actually I just noticed this is from 6 hours ago so it’s probably already started.

It’ll keep you awake at night for a while from cringe but it’s not a huge deal. You weren’t like being an asshole. They’ll probably forget about it before you do.
I think if it were people to had to interact with regularly like neighbours or coworkers or in laws or something it would make more sense to maybe gently try to inform them of certain issues like this but for some random passerby’s it’s not really worth it and it’s probably not going to convince them of anything or make an impact.

I mean you said yourself that your intonation was much more “native” than your dad. Even if you only said a couple words from your intonation they can tell you’re at least somewhat good at Japanese.
It’s not a huge deal but I think it was unnecessary. It’s just kids being kids and goofing around. No need to take it so seriously. Not like they were trying to be rude. Better to just smile and move along. Not really necessary to try to give a Ted talk on micro aggressions.

Don’t be ridiculous. It’s always the asshole narcissists that get away with scrapes and bruises. It’s always like a family with 5 toddlers that gets annihilated or paralyzed by them

The only thing more performative than artists like this is people like you who suddenly jump out of the shadows every time somebody dies to act like you care about all the bad stuff they did while they were alive. Like she’s fuckin dead bro. Maybe you should have mentioned it when she was alive. Otherwise it’s too late now and it doesn’t matter, you’re just trying to get attention and be edgy now.

Oh to be born a Japanese man. Life on easy mode. Can literally get away with murder

So if you agree to have sex with somebody and during the sex you change your mind then you’re just a stupid bitch and should put up with the consequences of your actions and shouldn’t have agreed to have sex to begin with. Got it. Amazing how all the supposedly feminist pro choice people have suddenly become like Andrew Tate levels of misogynistic and hateful against women from this one event.

I wonder what the psychology is behind why some spiders are much more repulsive than others. I also think spiders like this and jumping spiders and like the small-ish more chonky spiders with fairly short/proportional legs are completely fine or even cute. No problem with them in my house. No problem even touching or holding them to bring them outside if I need to. Even tarantulas I feel fairly fine with even though they are huge. Something to do with them being more like thick and proportionate and almost being like a small mammal or something rather than a spider.
But the small spiders that are more like skinny with thin long legs or large ones with the loooooong legs like huntsman spiders I just cannot fucking do. Even daddy long legs or crane flies are just as bad even though I know they’re not spiders, but they have that similar body type. I don’t even know what emotion to describe it as it’s like some sort of mix of PRIMAL repulsion and hate and anger and disgust and fear.
What is it that makes the thin elongated form so repulsive with insects? With centipedes too, the ones with short legs don’t bother me that much. I’ve even seen the large mukade centipedes here in Japan and I didn’t feel frightened (it was outside in the woods, I probably would be more freaked out if it was in my house, but that’s a little different since they are literally venomous) but there is a much smaller species of house centipede here that has freakishly long legs that sends me into that caveman animal brain mode where my natural instincts just scream that this thing deserves to die.
I even know how beneficial huntsmen are to be nearby or in your home. I know in Australia they basically keep them as house pets. I researched so much to try to desensitize myself to them and yet when I went downstairs at 5am and got my breakfast and then turned around to go to the sofa and I saw a huntsman the size of my hand on the wall by the tv I was stunlocked. I just stood frozen trying to normalize it in my head and rationalize it and tell myself “no this is a good thing they’ll kill cockroaches and worse insects for us. it’s fine, I can live with it it’ll just leave us alone, and will stay out of our way” but then as it creeped little by little over to the patio window and slid behind the curtains.. that animal rage just took over my body and I was like fuck no. I can’t deal with knowing this thing is lurking behind the curtains or anywhere else at any given time, ready to scuttle away or jump out the next time I throw the curtains opened in the morning, or show up on the wall behind me when go in the bathroom to brush my teeth and I only see it when I look in the mirror, or find it next to me when I’m on the toilet, or suddenly run across the floor or out of a pile of laundry, lurk in my closet or in my pantry. I’m extremely ashamed but I killed it. I knew I wouldn’t be able to capture it to release it outside and my feeling of repulsion would not let me live with it. I’m the more tolerant one of insects in my family as well so I know my daughter and husband would be even more traumatized than me if they saw it.
I was so repulsed that even after it died and I picked up the body with a tissue to put it in the garbage I literally felt viscerally sick and started heaving and almost puking. I never even react that badly with literal cockroaches. I’ve even picked up cockroaches before with my bare hands.
I know it was probably already in the house for god knows how long. It just got unlucky that I wake up crazy early for work and spotted it before it hid away wherever it normally did in the daytime after it’s nighttime strolling around my house
Anyway, this whole novel to ask why the hell is this a thing. I know it’s not only me. It doesn’t even make evolutionary sense because some venomous spiders are not as creepy and uncanny looking or have such long legs. And like the centipedes as well, the mukade is venomous but doesn’t have abnormally long legs or thinness but the house centipede is completely harmless and actually beneficial because they kill worse insects, but they trigger the creepy bone in most humans.

I used my Canadian visa for like 7 years until I got a Japanese JCB and Visa card and the only place that gave me errors and wouldn’t accept it was the online GAP shop. Never had issues on other online shopping sites.(and I online shop like to the unhealthy level)

It’s not a choice. That’s like saying that kids born into cults, or extreme brainwashing incest families, etc. Have a “choice” to participate in it. It’s not a choice when you’re quite literally born and raised and molded to believe something insane is just normal reality.

I’ve lived in Japan a decade and never needed a hanko so you’re fine. You don’t need it for anything urgently when you arrive or whatever. The only thing you might literally NEED it for is buying a home or car

Yeah I’m not sure what OP is saying regarding katakana. Katakana is basically always NOT how your name is literally spelled. It’s how it sounds.

She’s a literal baby. She doesn’t have “sensory issues” just keep putting bread on the plate and I guarantee you eventually she’ll eat it. No need to force feed it to her but encourage it as an option every time.
People create picky eaters by never ever feeding their kids certain foods again just because they refuse to eat it a couple of times. Of course for a literal baby new texture and foods might seem weird at first but by repeated exposure that’s how they get used to it.
There are literally dozens of foods that are now my 5 year olds favorite foods that when she was a baby/toddler she insisted she didn’t like. But I just continued to serve it occasionally and eventually she realized she does like it

This isn’t AI. I literally googled about rayon and copy pasted some excerpts from various websites. Did yall forget how to do research…? Copy paste parts of my message and you can find them word for word online on the websites I got them from… sorry, I’m already in my 30’s so I learned how to look things up for evidence in school lmao. Obviously if I just posted without evidence you’d be like “no it’s synthetic!!! It sucks”

I don’t really know much about rayon but I googled it and.. it seems like there’s a reason it’s often in Uniqlo’s “cooling” type clothes
>Cotton is very breathable and durable. High-quality rayon, however, often has an edge in softness, drape, and moisture-wicking ability, giving it a cooler, more luxurious feel against the skin. For vibrant, flowing garments that keep you dry, rayon is a superior choice
>Exceptional Breathability: Unlike truly synthetic fabrics like polyester, high-quality rayon allows air to circulate, keeping you cool and comfortable even on the hottest days.
>Moisture-Wicking: Rayon absorbs moisture away from the skin, helping you stay dry and fresh.
>Rayon is a man-made fabric blended from cotton, wood pulp, and other natural or synthetic fibers. It was invented as a cheaper alternative to silk (which also makes silk a good summer fabric). Rayon has very thin fibers, which allows it to breathe more than other fabrics and gives it a lightness that prevents it from sticking to a body in hot weather. Since it is so comfortable and cooling to wear, rayon is an especially good fabric for sportswear and summer dresses.
>One of the biggest misconceptions about rayon is that it's a completely synthetic fabric. In reality, rayon is a "semi-synthetic" or "regenerated cellulosic" fiber. This means it originates from a natural source—typically wood pulp from trees like bamboo, beech, and eucalyptus—that is then dissolved and regenerated into a fiber through a chemical process.
This unique production method gives rayon its signature qualities: the softness and breathability of a natural fiber like cotton, with the drape and sheen of silk.

Right? I work at a hotel and we’ve had celebrities/well known figures of various sorts (sports, actors, political) stay at my hotel and every single time they’ve either had breakfast in one of our private rooms or in their room, even the more minor ones. Like wtf would you have breakfast in the public dining room if you’re so concerned about privacy? Is she stupid?

And? People always quote this statistic but what does that even prove? Maybe it proves y’all are better at actually arresting and locking up terrible people? Because I know in my country criminals just pay people off with money and avoid jail, or get pathetically short sentences. I’m not just talking petty crimes but terrible things like rape, child molestation, etc. So I would be much happier if more people here were locked up so they can’t hurt people.
You sure your husband isn’t just covering for his weird fetish?
