Gotta get those kids to watch We Ride: The Story of Snowboarding. It does a good job of telling his story.

I don't think that plushie exists in one piece anymore.

The protector helmet is dope, but spikey glowing eyed flametal helmet wants a word with you.

On all other counts, I agree with you. The enormous "snow pants" vibe of the protector pants is a weird decision, the boots are odd, and that fucking neck scarf does not do it for me. If they had gone with a fur lined, valkyrie-plate vibe for the whole set they would have been cooking, especially paired with the fact that it has no movement penalty.

I still think the Flametal set, ashen cape, and bloodthirsty slayer or berserkir axes is the drippiest combo in the game.

If a shop is telling you that you can't wear a respirator, might be time to find a new shop. Fuck that.

Edit: for the keeping warm thing, just buy whatever is cheap, comfortable, and 100% cotton. Wear layers, avoid a single bulkey jacket. Pro tip is buy bibs and put a hot pack between your chest and the bib. Also, put them in your boots, and don't cheap out on socks.

This is, so far, the absolute best chili recipe I have ever used. The addition of bacon at the beginning makes a big difference in the flavor, and it's fairly simple/easy.

I got work to buy me the versaflo backpack. Absolutely cannot go back to the belt pack life.

100%. I've died more early game post 1.0 than ever before.

Some of the new mobs, whoo boy. They do not fuck around.

Midgetsdontfloat

Yeah currently running a 2h build and all I've learned is heavy attack go brrrr

I chose Sven Longweiner to be the name that I beat the game with, and I regret nothing.

I mean... I agree that they're not super comparable other than being the same genre. I like them both because they give me something the other doesn't really provide, but the nice thing is that there's a place for both of them in my library.

Sorry, I've played enshrouded a ton in EA, guess I didn't mention that. My wife and I played all the way till the mountains, and put a lot of time into it. I genuinely enjoy Enshrouded and have lots of time in it.

Midgetsdontfloat

To be honest, Valheim, but they do very different things for me. I beat Valheim a couple weeks ago, and we're about to go in on Enshroudeds 1.0 tomorrow, and I'm just as excited. I've played Enshrouded a lot in EA but haven't touched it in a while.

Valheim is a much more difficult, unforgiving game in general, but I've spent so much time playing and getting good at it that it's been extremely satisfying "mastering" the game. It's also got a beautifully distinct vibe, art direction, and the music is delightful. Plus I feel like it's perfectly balanced, difficulty wise (though some people will disagree)

Enshrouded is more casual for sure, but it's also got a hand crafted world, quests, and more direction. It scratches a different itch for me. Plus the building mechanics are second to none. I recently tried getting into Runescape Dragonwilds and gave up after 10 or so hours. It just feels like shittier Enshrouded with extra grind on top and awful combat.

Between Enshrouded and Valheim, my craving for the genre has been beautifully satiated.

My boiler takes pieces that happen to be exactly as long as my 390XP from handle to the bottom felling dog spike, so I usually place the saw body down on the log and eyeball a spot to start my cut.

Midgetsdontfloat

Yes, SRT10s were rwd only. Thing is, so are most legitimate prerunners.

Midgetsdontfloat

Thanks for the insight, boss. I might have to look into a coil then.

Midgetsdontfloat

Way heavier though, no? I pedal a lot, my local is pretty steep. How do they affect climbing?

Midgetsdontfloat

Yeah I dunno man I rode a revelstoke park day with my Spire and honestly it did great. Hard to justify a $1500 bill for what could be a marginal upgrade.

To be honest I don't even know what I'd upgrade on that bike. The deore groupset is really good, the brakes feel great to me, maybe some decent carbon wheels? But same thing, thats a lot of cheddar for a marginal upgrade.

My thought was just upgrading the damper is a couple hundred bucks for a small increase in performance, but now I'm not so sure.

Midgetsdontfloat

Can it? Finewood can, but Timberwood is exclusively deep north, no?

Midgetsdontfloat

200lbs as I sit and that's on the light end for me. 200-220 depending on life.

I mean... 36 vs 38 is really only stiffness related because thicker stanchions, no? Does it make that big of a difference?

Midgetsdontfloat

Ugh, this is making me reconsider. I don't like constantly fiddling with shit. I really wish I could hot swap a grip 2 and see if it's a better damper.

Midgetsdontfloat

Oh I am under zero delusions that lowers will help performance, I just want them because it would look great on my rig haha.

Appreciate the insight. I'll try and order a grip 2 with a rebuild kit and tackle that this winter.

Midgetsdontfloat

I mean... Minecraft literally invented the survivalcraft genre. Valheim, enshrouded, dragonwilds, they all owe their existence to Notch.
