The Volca Sample is an awesome machine. New samples keep the love going. Put batteries in, load a bank, get to a cosy place and put your best headphones on.

Just recently got my hands on the BIA. Wow. It speaks to me. 🫠

Already day 12 and I didn't miss a day. I hope I can keep it up. I started with the digitakt and now I switched to the eurorack case.

First week of jamuary2023 I jammed with the digitakt only. Then the urge came to play with the eurorack case.

As u/Sup909 mentioned. The Korg Volca series is the most affordable setup. Volca Sample 2nd generation and you are good to go. Then the rabbit hole starts. :-)

It took us around a year to get 300 jams online.

Thanks, Squarp Instruments Rample is a sampler. First time I tried the cv inputs on it and combine it with the tetrapad.

The first attempt of a generative patch with the rample and some more randomness on the digitakt. I kept the whole jam, there are some cool parts in there. Maybe not the full 8 min :-)

Skip to about 2 min, in the beginning, it's a bit checking and some small adjustments.

Keyboard version should be 100 more hence having keys. Everything else is the same. Honestly I would not mind having both 🤣🤣

I like the fact that you can make it your own. Less cluttered gui. Only the modules you "need".

Interesting, I honestly never tried PhasePlant. I stopped with vsts about ~2 years ago. Only heard good things about it. 👌

Let me break down this little jam, I had a look at how many times our free sample pack was downloaded, and wooooooo... I was happily surprised. So I thought let me jam with this sample pack.

I started with the eurorack patch. Little more complex than usual, running three VCO thru the Shifty to get this hypnotic synth sound. Then I added the 808 kick via the RD-808 and then build all the percussion elements on the digitakt. Yeah, all our sample packs just work nicely with it and can be modified heavily. So also for me, it was a refreshing sound design session with the first-ever sample pack that we have released!

Litte info about the Patch.

- Kick, bassline, and "Snare" come from the STO!

- Rest comes from the Squarp Rample that is loaded with the Digitakt Sample Pack 1

- Cymbal comes from the Plonk

- All of the stuff goes into the Doepfer A-199 Spring Verb.

- Limiter comes from DAW to catch them True Peaks
