One 3 year old girl, small for her age, large scar down her chest from an open heart surgery… she smelled like an ash tray due to her parents being heavy smokers.

Yes

Though your hours are limited, can the schedule be such that you can work a flexible temporary side gig until your hours pick up?
It seems you may find some flexibility at work. (Though it should remain priority).
And maybe negotiate with your credit card companies. I do the snowball method… smallest credit card first. At this point, go for the psychological wins.

If Trump is blaming Biden for the Economy, Biden can very well blame Trump. 4 years was not nearly long enough to clean up the mess left behind.

my autistic response would be: Indeed. Across the human population, some people are skinnier than others.
Mohtek1
Do they have dogs and you don’t? Maybe a god whistle as well
Mohtek1
Yes, I had several good careers, some prestigious like being a college professor, others lucrative such as IT

Lay diagnosed Autistic here. Didn’t really figure out the social stuff

Like a pharmacist?

There are two types of electrical damage: catastrophic or latent.
Yours might have taken longer to die, unfortunately

Online banks have high yield savings accounts, and you can open several accounts there.
Treat each account like a money bucket.
At least:
1 for car repair emergencies
1 for unemployment margin
1 for long term savings.
Pay yourself first, have the accounts get a little out of each paycheck before you see it.
When you get raises, practice savings creep instead of lifestyle creep.
Don’t deprive yourself, but keep an eye on mid term, and another eye on the long term.

2 Emergency accounts. I do one as unemployed assistance, they say 6 months, but I say 9.
And one for car 1 or 2K

Some kinda reverse math:
I had 17K in an old 401k. I haven’t added to it as I left the company a decade ago. It’s doubled in price.
There is a rule of 7s, (I think that’s the name), you can use the tool to see how many times your money doubles given the interest rate.
Use it to see how valuable that will be in 40 years. Your eyes will pop out of your head.

My cable managment “basket” things that hang off of the back of my computer desk.

I had a few surgeries over the last few years. One would have cost me 360,000k. Not getting the surgery would have cost me at least my right leg.
We are mechanical, in that we have moving parts. Eventually things ware out or break or we get a major illness.
It’s not if, it’s when. Some can go longer than others without issues, but it’s an expensive gamble

It also depends on what restaurant they target. If they go upper scale, tips may follow.

One time tell him he didn’t that giant spider on his desk either…

It’s a good time to start over. It’s pretty
much middle age.
If you don’t have a retirement plan, start saving aggressively. You can come out OK if you are diligent about it.

My homelab at the moment. It’s where Incan make sense from the chaos through building, tinkering and programming.

It’s called the imposter syndrome, so many people experience this that it has a name.
My only advice is to remember the last thing do in college is participate in a comment ceremony. As you know, commencement means begin.
Always keep learning, upskilling, and seeking new ways to grow and expand, personally and in the workforce.
This has helped me switch careers and remain agile when needed.

Python is a good one to start with. Best thing is to ask AI to make you a list of programs to make, from simple to difficult and add in what you are interested in, like database or GUI.
And then work through each project. Look up things when you get stuck, and don’t rely on AI to feed you the answers.
The best way to get good at programming is to make stuff.

I have multiple accounts with the same online bank. You can have one for travel and one for emergency savings etc. they are free to set up and makes aggregating your money a much easier task.

It sounds like a catchup until the end of the year, which is good in general.

It will be the same post next week as well…
It was the first car I paid for, and it got me through high school and college.
