No reason not to be in range as CL while mapping, youre still teleing right next to packs and anything out of range is still getting wrecked.

This 100%. Cant overstate how helpful save scumming was for me really figuring out play order with my decks, knowing if theyre just going to fail no matter what (what was missing? What cards did I take that screwed me or pass on that couldve fixed this?). Not to mention early on it just exposes you to enemy attack patterns again so you can remember them easier, which is the foundation of knowing how to play fights/prepare.

My A10 clad file without save scumming (yes I realize this is an sts1 post, same logic applies across both games) is around 75% win rate with an 11 win streak and if I didnt save scum before this it would have taken me easily 100 hours+ more to get there.

Tress and [[Leafy Poultice]] are always snap picks without even looking at the map for me purely out of fun factor. [[Lead Paperweight]] is right up there too but not a blind pick, and [[New Leaf]] is another favourite. [[Kaleidoscope]] was almost that before too but honestly theres so much trash and low value rolls that Ive really come to hate it.

Also have really come to appreciate [[Silver Crucible]] doing my clad a10 file. Upgrades are so important for many of his cards that its been strong every time in my experience.

For any of you new homies and bozos: do yourself a favour and go watch all of his earlier appearances. Absolute dirtball, such great chemistry with the boys and probably my favourite guest of all time.
