As both a notre dame fan and a UK fan (my sister went there) I am beyond thrilled. A great night!

We did five alive and seven up. Theoretically calmed your stomach, probably just distracted us.

Shove them in the dirt, give them lots of sun and water, and now you have three new trees. Only issue is if it's too close to winter they might not survive but otherwise it usually works.

Depends on where you are. Up north, it's huge. In Texas it's a minor thing at Irish pubs.

Check this out. Joining will allow you to pay for private lessons but there are also group lessons which will help you find partners to play with outside of lessons. They also have clinics and group lessons.

McLennan county community college ones are open as long as there isn't a schedule school event.

My sister went to UK so 100% rooting for them. Kenny is just a bonus.

I spent many happy times perusing the Austin home brew recipes with my brewing buddy. We brewed hundreds if not thousands of gallons of beer using their recipes. End of an era... :(

If the weather is nice Cameron Park Zoo could be a good option.

To get optimum performance, you have to replace the water daily (if a combo vac / mop) and wash / switch the filter daily (at least in my house with a cat and three kids). The filters can be washed and reused so we just swap two daily until they need to be replaced. But the actual running / emptying is automatic. We have ours on a daily timer while we are at work. It's been a game changer.

Testicular torsion is a medical emergency. According to my wife (an ER doc) almost every single time people wait too long and they end up losing the testicle. If you get there quick enough they can save it. Not something worth f'n around with. Go to the ER.

West Fest is always fun. Drink some beer, eat some good fair food, listen to some good live music.

Heldberg bbq is the best bbq in town. George's is your local classic Texas food, and Vitek's is another local bbq place. Opals or red herring for a nicer dinner. The grape or Blaine's for a local wine bar / dinner, and hemmingways for a local hole in the wall bar. Valley mills for a local winery, balcones for a local distillery. Southern roots, brother well, or Waco ale for a local brew pub.
For golf, while there are courses in town that are nice, I recommend driving to white bluff in Whitney. They have two courses there that are very nice and worth the drive.
The backyard has live music a lot. This website has events like concerts and trivia nights:

If you are here during football season, Baylor stadium is a great place to watch a game.
Cameron Park is the best part of Waco. They have tons of hiking and mountain bike trails. There are also tons of disc golf courses around town, including one the pros play (the Beast).
I guess if you really want weird you can drive out and find where the old Branch Davidian compound used to be.

After years of drinking it black, I honestly can't stand it with anything in it.

I have known at least two men named Kim and two men named Kelly.

It just got so much better from book five onward on so many levels. More characters were introduced that I loved (Dross is probably my favorite), and it was awesome seeing Lindon finally actually becoming strong and gaining some confidence. Ultimately though it was just that the "peak" moments from 5 onward hit so much harder than the first few books.

For stuff to do, this website is always great. It has anything from farmers market to concerts to trivia nights.

Waco has an active bike club (road and mountain), running club (Waco striders), and disc golf club. You will also easily find people interested in paddle boarding or kayaking. There is a cool climbing gym on the south side of town (the basin).
There is always stuff going on at Baylor, from sporting events to concerts. Baseball games are really cool, and both the basketball and football stadiums are really nice. The Waco symphony is also really fun, and it isn't just all serious classical stuff. They did home alone last year at Xmas where they played the music and showed the movie and it was awesome.
Cameron park is 100% the best part of Waco, but there are also trails at Woodway park and Reynolds park. Lake Waco is nice, but if you are into water sports lake Belton and lake Whitney are also super nice (actually much nicer than Waco) and not a far drive.
If you get here by Labor Day, check out west fest. It is an annual Czech fall festival just north of town and it's a blast.
Southern roots, Waco ale, and brotherwell are cool local brewpubs. Balcones is our local distillery, and valley mills vineyard is an awesome winery about 20 minutes out of town.

Book one was good enough I was willing to continue, but I wasn't super impressed. 2, then 3, got noticeably better. It gets progressively better until book 5, at which point it's just nuts till the end. Books 5 and 8 are the best, but everything after 5 is awesome. I have now read it three times, including listening to the audiobooks with my kids (who are obsessed) and recommended it to many people. It is a super fun series, and the audiobooks are phenomenal if you ever need a book for some car rides.

Revival, harvest on 25th, southern roots, opals, heldberg, Barnetts. Really just depends on what you want and how nice, but all have good food across a spectrum of options.
Momingo
I read it, then I listened to it, then I listened to it again with my kids. The audiobook is phenomenal. The reading is truly next level, and it makes the books even more enjoyable.
Momingo
I bought the books he wrote solely based on how amazing of a reader he is.

Totally depends on how many people and what age you are, and day of the week, but maybe crickets, Barnetts, one day, or lucky bucks (if the weather is good)
So if we have a family cabin built in the 80s and taking a shower there is hell, where it alternates between ice and scalding...what do I do to fix it?
