No. 2k Tutes tested it. It doesn’t give you better catch animations. It just prevents you from getting stripped once you get the ball. This is for bigs that doesn’t have handles to avoid guards from spamming them when they receive the ball

There’s nothing wrong with the PG taking a lot of shots as long as they are efficient shots. I play C and it doesn’t bother me if our PG scores on every possession. We have to play our roles and if that means i have to sit in the corner or hash so that they can have space to operate then I’m happy with that.
