Iirc yellow hand is the one you get a roll but you can buy more, once you get a good start you can beat the round in 2-3 rolls but have another 5+ rolls to skip on.

The stems were small and fibrous, plus it gave me a quick way to chdck if it qas buggy.

Are these amanita muscaria? Or a different sp. Have a bunch that look like this in WA
MontanaMayor
I've mostly done this with chantrelle, lobster and some of the soggy boletes; slice or dice and dry sautée on their own (or butter and salt if youd like), then i freeze them. That way theyre pre cooked for whatever im making in the future.

Wdym about penny buns, isnt that another name for porcini? They're considered poisonous?
MontanaMayor
Yes i forgot about them only being conifers. Often the angel wings are almost translucent and have frilled edges.
MontanaMayor
I would lean more towards angel wings, hopefully someone else can confirm, but dont eat until youre sure.

Oh now that I looked up what you mentjoned, this was found right next to a velvet footed tap

I too thought maybe immature gills but every other true gilled young mushroom ive found has gills theyre just tightly packed. There's was an abundance of all types of mushrooms but didnt find any others like this.

I just looked up the value of this compared to a 1899 O, why the huge difference at MS 64 and above, at G4 it seems to be the same.

Top one is the commemorative 2026, 250 anniversary of the US dime, bottomed is our normal design.
