After the stuff I've seen on DS1/2/3 I'm always offline now. There are mods to help against that for the DS trilogy but I don't use summons and don't invade anyway, so I might as well reduce the surface of attack for grifters

Luckily my shield was up. I do a guard counter, a critical attack, and repeat the process. Someone is behind me, confused as to why I was going to the restroom with a sword and board and how the second gargoyle's attack went through my body during my first critical.

The door's frame is also mysteriously undamaged as the sword went through it just fine during the guard counters. I do not find any of this strange. Untouched by the Erdtree's grace, I must still touch grass.
