I would take your medication as prescribed. Taking breaks from your meds can allow your body to develop immunity to the immunosuppressants, which is how they end up failing, no longer work for you because you are immune to them, and then you have no other options while your body damage increases.

I'm ngl this is very odd. The warehouses is weird, and I would worry about the welfare of that many cats in one space. The alcohol is definitely weird. And any decent rescue worth their salt would be happy to take back animals from a household intelligent enough to realize they're not fit to be a good cat owner. In fact it is often in the contracts that if you give the animal up, you are required to return it to them. And of course the randomly accusing someone of being autistic, which has nothing to do with anything, and feeling this butthurt about someone doing a very normal rescue thing, is also weird as hell. It was two days, the cats did not bond with you, they went on a weekend vacation with a sitter, as far as they can tell.

I feel sorry for the cats, not because you returned them for better placement but because these people are creepy. I think you dodged a bullet here.

I think generally people who are suffering are seeking community and support because they need it — and that goes for any ailment. You are much more likely to hear from people struggling than those who are doing great and have other things to do.

I am doing okay and stop by when I can to support others, but I don’t need the support myself right now, so you won’t be seeing posts from me very often. I’m not going to make posts here about how everything is fine, If that makes sense.
