Truth. Told my coworker Wednesday that we’re just a number and if we die they’ll post our job as available within a week. Moral of the story is, no matter who you work for, don’t kill yourself over it. There’s a difference in living and being alive. The military, though an honorable job, is still ultimately just a job. I used to think that I was proud to have served, but these days I’m far more proud of owning a wildlife rescue than I ever was of putting on the uniform.

As long as it’s not mandatory. I’m not letting them stick a needle in me to inject something that takes at least a year to study before they can have solid documented evidence of the the long term side effects, risk of aids effects, But as someone who doesn’t get the flu shot, and doesn’t get the flu, who was told by my doctor they have reason to believe I had already contracted the coronavirus and got over it, I’m gonna have to do a hard pass on the vaccine. But I will be following it now, it’s good to stay informed

At least 72 countries acknowledged that nuclear is good, or at least plays an important role in green energy

“Let’s monitor students online activity!”
Uh... we already monitor everyone’s online activity. By and large we ignore the warning signs. Someone could actively threaten violence and we probably wouldn’t respond until AFTER it occurred

The paracord bracelet is handy, as is having a knife. But what the hell is even on that magazine?

It’s just sad that “studies show” that being civil has better results.
Like, I don’t support vaccines but I get shit on for it, even if I provide the evidence behind my stance. Meanwhile I don’t go around bashing people who do support them, and express that if someone feels that they wants to vaccinate their children that’s their choice and more power to them.
But I guess there are THOSE people who are anti vaccine who warrant the negativity. The ones who get all “hur dur you’re a stupid sheep if you get vaccinated”. By all means, put them in their place. I won’t defend them

Conflating a pig to a human being is not a counter argument. Yes, animals have heart beats. No, they’re not the same sentient beings that humans are

It’s an ESCAPE room. He’s mad you found out how to escape because he made it WAY to obvious. You didn’t ruin it, he just needs to do better

Glad my state finally acknowledges that abortion is murder

Don’t feel badly about it. He still got off easy. Any man or woman who rapes another man or woman deserves to be publicly executed

“Hur dur I’m gonna use as many logical fallacies I can. That’ll show him”
C’mon man, actually debate. Stop cowering behind false arguments

Then they better train. If they can’t stay in school long enough to make a team, who’s gonna train them? Some washed up ex coach who volunteers to teach inner city children so he can maybe have a shot at getting his failed live back together?

Projection. Not a valid rebuttal

Today people think that by blindfolding their past they can appease the masses. They forget that we must accept our past if we with to advance. We must learn from our mistakes to succeed. To be ashamed of who we are remove any sincerity in who we will be

I’ll help. Emancipation Proclamation ONLY freed slaves in states in open rebellion against the union. It allowed the Union states to continue to own slaves. Source: Emancipation Proclamation
General Robert E. Lee, among other influential politicians/soliders on the side of the confederacy expressed their disgust in the institution of slavery. Lee himself calling it an “evil and immoral institution” Source: I don’t have it on hand
President Jefferson Davis had a plan in motion to educate the slaves before freeing them. Lincoln put a stop to that and made for a bunch of illiterate and uneducated people to be released into independence. Source: The South Was Right (Civil war history book, seriously an amazing read)
The South Carolina declaration of secession has its first paragraph expressing their reason to succeed. “Due to the Unions violation of the constitution” (paraphrased) Source: South Carolina Declaration of Secession

They can’t, they’re too busy being over half the nations murderers and killing each other over some “gang” indoctrination

Greedy for not bending the knee to people demanding our money?
How’s the boot taste from down there?

Where are they? All I see is a bunch of liberal snowflakes

Drive that bitch and drive it proudly
You earned it, so it’s okay to be bothered by it. Unfortunately the Army has a funny way of not showing appreciation once you’re out. I received an honorable discharge due to some serious health complications. That was about a decade ago when the economy had gone down the drain. So there I was, homeless, denied assistance at every turn, unemployed. The VA didn’t help, the VA hospitals needed to give me a psych evaluation to begin the process for finding a veteran shelter, which they said would take 2 weeks to get me my first appointment. When I asked where I was supposed to go in the mean time, they told me to “figure it out”. They’ve even denied me disability. I’ve come to realize that once you’re out, you’re just discarded garbage in their eyes. So you have every right to be bothered by how they did you. They’ve done a lot of us unjustly. But, now you have your future to set your eyes on. Find something meaningful to you and pursue that. There’s plenty of areas that veterans can still make a difference in, that appreciate veterans. Just because the machine moved on, doesn’t mean we have to abandon our desire to be bigger than ourselves. And remember that you’re not alone. Together we can continue to honor our country as reintegrated civilians.
